60-Pack 8 Inch Black Plastic Spiral Pointed Garden Stakes for Landscape Edging, Paver, Tent, Weed Barrier

These stakes are great! Good size and pretty sturdy. I intend to use them for securing in place weed cloth and they will be perfect. Price was a steal.

I use these to hang things in the garage. I put them on a slight upward angle every 6in into a 2x6 8ft and mount that on the wall. Does not need to hold anything heavy, just get garden tools up off the floor. Perfect to mount on wall beside garage door track where it is too narrow to fit a shelf. And a lot cheaper than some store bought rack.

These nails go into the soil deep holding the border firmly in blade holding back the mulch and keeping it where it should be.

We are using these to hold wood pallet boards in place in a garden walkway. We drilled through the pallet first, of course. The issue you may run into is that since these spikes are plastic, they will not necessarily be able to penetrate the ground if it is hard or if there is any kind of rock in its path. If that's the case you will need to ore-drill a hole into the ground. We happen to have a hammer drill device. Without that, getting 8 inches of the plastic into the ground would never have worked for us. Other than that they're terrific. A much better deal than what I could find locally. My wood path is now secure. All the nail heads remained intact. I can now continue working on the decorative aspects of the path and my boards won't shift around.

These are a MUST if you are putting in plastic edging between the lawn and gravel. When you buy the edging you don't get near enough of them to properly anchor the edging to the ground. Don't get into your project "Wishing" you had gotten extra stakes. Don't try to hammer them in too quickly. They rotate as they go down and will only go in so fast. Be sure to hold the nail firmly with one hand while tapping with a reasonable but not hard with the other. It would not hurt to water the ground you are working on, the night before. '

Good stakes to hold plastic edging in place. Some reviews complained they were not strong and/or bent when nailing into the ground. Use some common sense- they are plastic. I hammered them into very hard ground, including lime rock. I used a long screwdriver to loosen the soil if its that hard. It worked find for me. Need more strength? Then get the metal stakes. otherwise, these are fine.

These do not do well in the hard NC red clay. I have had multiple break or bend badly trying to hammer them into the ground with a rubber mallet. They would probably be better for already manicured/softer soil areas

Great nails, drive easily and are a good value. Big factor to be aware of is that the head on these is much smaller than the head on the plastic edging stakes. So if you use them in plastic no-dig edging you may have to put two of these into some holes to make sure the edging stays in place.

Way cheaper than the spikes from the hardware store. Worked good to hold down plastic landscaping edging.
