Me encanta
Había estado buscando un gnomo de jardín con luz y ninguno me convencía hasta que vi este. Es hermoso, tanto que no quise sacarlo al jardín y lo deje como adorno en el descanso de la escalera.

Nice garden ornament but...
My home faces the east, and so does the gnome. The solar charging panel is at the back of the gnome. There is a wall one foot behind the gnome, so it gets no direct sun in the afternoon. It is relying on reflected sunlight from the wall behind it during the morning, so the lamp only burns for an hour or less. If I want the lamp to burn for longer, I would have to turn the solar panel (back of the gnome) toward the east in the morning, and then turn the gnome around in the evening. If the gnome had a molded pedestal with the solar panel in the front, it would be better.

Nice, but....
Looks good and is sturdy. My issue is that the solar panel is located in the very back of the gnome, and does not collect enough light to keep the little lights on for very long. If the gnome is facing forward, as it should, then the solar panel is not in direct sunlight as is needed. I can, and have turned the gnome so the panel is facing the sun, but I shouldn't have to turn it back and forth. Maybe the manufacturer could place the panel in the front to be able to collect sunlight as needed.

Nice gnome, got it shining brightly
I purchased this gnome since I love them and have a collection of them, and while I love the design, I dont love the solar light. When I first opened the box i turned on the push button and covered the panel with my hand. The lights were somewhat bright, but I figured it needed to charge so i set it out at about 2:30 pm. After dark I checked it and I didnt see the light on at all. I brought it in and the picture shows what the light looked like. It was hardly visible. I opened up the cover where the switch is underneath it, took out the battery, put it back in and closed it up. I turned it back on and it lit up very nicely. Maybe jarred around during shipping and not seated properly? Works great now.
