This is the real deal folks. I just bought this product and I knew I was taking a risk on it because it is brand new and it was hard to find any reviews. It was worth the risk because of the competitive pricing with other high end units. I didn't want to buy one for $100 less that would break in a month or not have a variety of gaming options. I'm glad I took a chance on this. Here are some things to consider when comparing this to others.Game options: This is huge. What makes this so much fun is that you can challenge other people online, track your scores, and play different modes using your tablet. This adds so much depth to the traditional basketball system. The tablet connects to the basketball unit using Bluetooth. You don't have to use the tablet, but it you don't, then you are limited to a standard 1 or 2 person game.Construction: The steel frame is very sturdy. The frame is collapsible to free up space when it is is not being used. The rims are also very sturdy and I am very happy with the correct bounce off the rims and backboard. The rims are also far enough away from each other that scoring in the opponents hoop is rare. Also, the scoring trigger is very accurate. It is very rare for a basket not to trigger and would only occur if the balls when through the hoop almost simultaneously.Assembly: the manual recommends 2 adults to assemble. I can understand why. The steel frames are heavy and long, so having two people would help. Make sure you have your own Phillips screwdriver and small wrench or pliers. Trying to use what is provided would be frustrating. I put the unit together myself on the carpet and using chairs to hold up pieces while I tightened them, so it can be done. It just might take 3-4 hours.Overall, I highly recommend this product. I love it and my 8 year old son loves it also. I can see us using this for years to come and as something guests would love to play also. Kids love technology and the online options set this system a step above all others, and has the durability to back it up. See you at the top of the rankings!

Do not be decieved by good reviews!! I had high hopes for this basketball arcade game. When we were 1/2 way through the assembly, some of the pipes were BENT, and we had to use the tip of a hammer to bend them back to the circular way they were meant to be. I was praying we could bend it correctly, considering this was my son's Christmas present. Miraculously, we were able to get the pipe to fit. After everything was said and done, it took about 2.5-3 yours to assemble. It was more difficult thasn a trampoline! We got it folded up ONE TIME to realize that one of the pipes at the folding area completely CRACKED, so now we cannot fold it up anymore. Also, after a few uses, we no longer have volume in the speaker, just lit up numbers. What a nightmare! I DO NOT RECOMMEND for young kids. My son is 6.5 and he shot a ball and knocked a fan blade completely off. So now we have to buy a new fan. Also, he knocked a picture off the wall......needs lots of supervision. I am starting to regret wasting my money on this behemoth. I should have saved $110 and just bought the cheap $40 version at walmart. Oh well, live and learn. The kids still have fun. I will quote my father, "it never pays to have anything nice because it always gets messed up."After downloading the app, and being connected to Facebook and blue tooth, this game still disappoints. This is December 26, and it says other opponents haven't played in 37 days minimum, some as far as 221 days. It would not allow me to connect to a room (any room, even with refreshing), it would not allow me to join a room, in this country or in the world. Very disappointing. It also would not count the points that my kids scored. The only thing that was in tune with the blue tooth was the timer. What an utter disappointment. Despite all of the issues with this monstrosity, my kids still enjoy the friendly competiveness. I have caught one already trying to do "push ups" on the bar in front of their hoop where the balls come down. Considering our "toy" is already broken on the left side, I freaked out when she was trying to do pushups.Please do your family and wallet a favor and buy as cheaper version, or pay hundreds more for a sturdier version. Whatever you do, DON'T BUY THIS. YOU WILL REGRET IT! WE DID WITHIN 3 HOURS OF ASSEMBLY!!! PATHETIC!!

Of course fun is the ultimate goal when buying something like this, whether for a game room, man cave or garage, but I tend to appreciate the design elements of a product like this just as much. It was clearly designed very well both for operation and assembly. I think it takes a bit of extra attention to design and construct a product for user assembly that will feel solid and work well. Beyond that, the customer service is excellent...very prompt response and easy to work with! The Bluetooth integration takes it to another level as you can expand the gameplay with a tablet or phone and get more than just a typical 2-player game option. I highly recommend this, especially if you want to get the kids away from their tablets and gaming consoles every now and then for some active fun!

We bought this double basketball electronic arcade set thinking our boys, who are 8 and 10 years old, would have fun with it. Guess what? Not only the boys LOVE it but we do too! Whenever we have friends over the Shaq is the greatest attraction in our playroom. Many kids and adults have been enjoying it since we bought it. This is a strong structure and it is in great shape after countless hours of use. We appreciate that it came with 4 balls so that two players can play uninterruptedly during competitions. The double counter makes it exciting as you can see your progress in real time. I highly recommend this item! We have not used the online app yet but our kids are asking to give it a try. I will update my review if we get to use it.
