AVANTEK Wireless Doorbell, 1300 ft Range, Waterproof, 2 Receivers, Black

Works really well, even through my hurricane- proofed poured concrete house clad in brick - although I had to carefully position the outdoor ringer/button to ensure a signal. My brick has a very rough texture with a weathered paint coating so I had to really clear and clean an area for the ringer to attach firmly in our humid weather. It fell once after a heavy rain so I prepared the area more vigorously, then bought some extra strength outdoor two-sided tape to re-adhere. It has been up for over a month now and is still holding after many uses. It is functioning as designed and I’m very pleased with it. Yay, it was so easy - I did it myself and didn’t have to pay an electrician!!! I especially like having two indoor bell boxes to position in multiple areas of the house. Although the ring is sufficiently loud I like having one near my back bedroom so I can hear it when I am in the shower or getting dressed. It would also be useful in a workshop. There are multiple ring styles to choose.

Arrived with a faulty transmitter, but Avantek's customer service was responsive and instructed us to return for a new unit. I think the fault was actually with Amazon, as the transmitter battery didn't have the plastic protective slip, so it was obvious this was a returned item that Amazon attempted to resell. The replacement unit works great. Good volume and with two ringer units that can be placed strategically throughout the house, we always hear a ring. All the various ringtones are also fun to play with. We ultimately settled on a more traditional ring, but they're fun to play with. Overall, a good product for the money.

I only have this door ringer several days. I can tell you as other reviewers have stated, plug in and press. Worked right out of the box with no adjustments. One receiver is close to the transmitter button and the other receiver is outside on the back deck maybe 65 feet away. Have not tried to program other chimes since the default, ding , dong is perfect. As well, haven’t adjusted the loudness since the default is plenty loud and feel that it’s probably set at its loudest. For me, perfect purchase even at full price although I received 33% off @ $19.99 Longevity will tell the complete story although I have confidence. Well done to the manufacturer!!

Great value. You have many ring tones to chose from. Max volume is good but could be louder. Plug in unit is wide and might be challenging in corner or tight outlet. Overall, would buy again.

The battery doorbell is great for someone who doesn’t do technology. And either doesn’t have a doorbell or the electric one doesn’t work. Comes with 2 chimes that you just plug into outlets anywhere in house. Loud enough to hear. Bought for a neighbor that doesn’t have technology in house and electric doorbell broke. The 2 sided tape so far is holding in the Tampa FL heat and rain and it’s been a month. Would recommend to any one that just wants s basic doorbell. Comes with multiple chimes options but neighbor wanted regular and didn’t want to try others so can’t speak to the other chimes. She is extremely happy with the doorbell

We love this doorbell! The installation was less than 5 minutes. It fit right over our previous doorbell that quit working. There are so many ringtones to choose from. We have one on our first floor that signals the traditional "ding, dong" sound. The second one is in our basement and plays "under the sea" from the Little Mermaid. I like that you can adjust the volume on each receiver. I have the one on our first floor a little quieter incase people ring the bell after my kids are asleep. The receiver in the basement is set to ring louder so it can be heard over my embroidery machine.

This is just what we needed as an outdoor call button for our lift, providing distinct alerts on both upper and lower floors. It was fairly easy to configure each receiver (independently) for an appropriate loudness setting and ringtone. There is a wide selection of types of ringtones, including various melodies, ring styles, and "cartoon" sounds. This wide selection is also the cause of the only disadvantage that I found: It's necessary to cycle through the entire set of ringtones and select your preference - and there's no way to go back to a previous selection without going forward through the entire set, and there's no way to search for a particular selection. This makes the selection of the ringtone quite tedious.

Love the selection of door bell sounds, and the fact that there are two receivers. They work well even at a long distance I tried 100ft and put one in the garage , no problem. Very happy with this purchse

Ha funcionado y resistido bastante a las inclemencias del tiempo y a la limpieza que se le da debido a la pandemia. Tienen un excelente alcance ya que mi casa es de concreto y ladrillo, con muros gruesos y puertas de madera y metal, pero no he tenido problemas. El hecho de que mantienen la selección de tono aún cuando se va la luz es muy bueno ya que en la temporada de lluvia es muy común los cortes de electricidad. Lo único problemático es, debido a la cantidad de tonos, el hacer la selección se complica por los pocos botones que tiene.
