New Balance Crew Socks with Coolmax (2-Pack)

Having some foot problems, my DPM advised that a New Balance store in the Bridgeport Village (northern Oregon) might be able to assist me with my diagnosed 'flexible forefoot valgus.' Thought I needed to take some antibiotics until the DPM advised that I have a high arch which lends itself to increased pressure/pain on the outside of the foot. I went to the store and purchased a pair of NB856 Cross Trainers. The salesman advised that the CoolMax socks might also be of benefit. I put them on and they feel great - better than the ordinary tube socks I've been buying for the last 40+ years. All I can say is, at least, try one pair. Betcha buy a couple more!!!

I tend to blow out the toes in all of my socks... Last few expensive pairs of hiking socks lasted four wears. I'm hopeful that these hold up. If they don't I'll be revisiting this review.So far so good.

the cooling dry fast socks can go stale and feel like plastic after time. This still has the fabric without being stocking tough. Feels comfortable and prefer it even today.

I purchased 2 pairs of these for a 10 day trip overseas with the intent of washing a pair nightly. They were comfortable, breathable, and had no difficulty drying overnight. Great if you are saving space.

Sox aren't something to get excited about, but I've been looking for a long time for Coolmax athletic crew sox and these fit the bill perfectly. They are a medium weight--if you're looking for a very light sock, this isn't it--and work just as advertised for running and cycling. I travel with them which is why quick-drying is particularly important.

These are far better made than the comparable Nikes. Nikes wear out in the heel ridiculously quickly. These are soft and comfy and perfect for either casual or activities.

I purchased these socks in anticipation of travel in a tropical country. I'm back now and the C2s really performed well. At first I thought they might be a bit too thick for a hot climate but that was completely wrong. They kept my feet dry and smelling peachy. Of course, wearing fabric tennis shoes may have helped.

Good quality socks that help keep your feet dry. (provided footwear promotes moving moister away from your feet too) Fit as expected.
