I am a six feet two inch northern European male and, though I don't have extraordinarily large hands, I normally wear a size Large in gloves. I find this brace is only just large enough to fit, the velcro hook straps barely reaching beyond the vinyl covering of the plastic splint's pocket and around my thumb. A person with hands even slightly larger would not find this brace suitable. With the rigid plastic splint in place it is not practical to wear the brace while operating a computer as the palm portion of the splint will prevent grasp of a mouse or trackball. This is somewhat less of an issue with the splint removed (from a tiny concealed slit at the base of the pocket) but if you anticipate needing a brace during computer use you will find it interferes. On the plus side, the brace is very light in weight and far less obtrusive (though not remotely as adjustable) compared to a full rigid brace such as the 3M Futuro models. The fabric is soft and breathable, as advertised, and sufficiently stretchy to maintain some degree of flexibility while providing support for relief of mild musculoskeletal strains. I can see where a person with smaller hands would find it acceptable for both day and night use in cases where full immobilization is not necessary.

This is an interesting design for a wrist brace.It opens all the way up and does not require the straps be threaded through plastic loops.There is also a third thin strap that crosses over between your index finger and thumb.After having used wrist braces for years and this brace for a few days, I would give it very high marks.This brace is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.It works to keep your wrist protected and stable while you work.Taking it off and on is easy and fast.I also consider the quality of materials and construction very good.I would definitely recommend this wrist brace to just about anyone who needs one;it's affordable, attractive, effective, comfortable, and well made.If you are someone who has been struggling to get a comfortable fit from most wrist braces, I would encourage you to give this slightly different design a try, as it might be able to provide you the custom fit you've been looking for.

I was recommended to get a brace like this by my doctor as I have been suffering from carpal tunnel issues for years. This does help and is much lighter than the big immobilizer brace I was using.This brace is light and breathable. My only disappointment is that it isn't as adjustable in the velcro area as I would like.My forearm is fatter than my wrist, so the velcro has to close at an angle, meaning one of the tabs isn't on the receiving section at all and hangs over my arm leaving only the single other tab. If this section was solid instead of two tabs, I could trim off the overhang and still have better support than the single tab.This isn't a huge deal, but just a silly design flaw, since most people have a larger forearm than their wrist.

i need to wear a brace when i sleep at night because of my carpal tunnel. if i don't then my arms and hand fall asleep and i wake up in pain. i needed new wrist bands, because mine were starting to literally fall apart at the seams. these looked like they would do great. and while they keep my arms and hands from falling asleep they end up leaving really deep indents in my skin when i wake up in the morning. and those indents are really painful. my older wrist guards didn't bite into my skin at all like these do. i even tried to loosen these up on my wrist to prevent this, and it still happens no matter how loose they are. really disappointing, because i thought these would be great, but it just swaps one problem for another.

Nice and thin, but has the flat, aluminum rod to keep your wrist steady. I wear to bed each night and it is fantastic. The Velcro stays put all night.
