Excellent
I have utilized several nuclear medicine case review books for board review, and this is by far, the best. The pictures are extremely clear and the variety of cases are exceptional, particularly in cardiology, pediatrics and PET/CT. The real standout compared to other case review books is the very well organized explanation of the findings and appropriate follow-up care. This may be the single best source for in training exam or board review prep.

Decent review book...
Decent review book with good selection of cases. However, getting a bit outdated, and weak on therapies. Suitable for residents in radiology and nuclear medicine preparing for boards. Attending preparing for MOC exam may find it useful as a quick review.

not much bang for your time
Not a very good book compared to RadCases or Core Review series for the core exam. Things i dislike about this book:1) pictures are TINY. you can't even see the finding on many pictures2) The cases are designed for discussion purposes, instead of testing your knowledge. The pictures provided in the case are not enough to arrive at a certain diagnosis. Once you flip the page to the discussion page, multiple additional images are provided to support their diagnosis. For example, one case showed a hypermetabolic pulmonary nodule on the PET, and the provided CT was on the LUNG window which showed a nodule. This has a wide DDX but once you flip to the answer page, they show you the nodule in bone window and you now appreciate fat in the nodule and realize it was a pulmonary hamartoma that they showed in lung window (couldnt see the fat in it)..... This is a common theme throughout the book and its VERY frustrating....

Excellent review book for board preparation.
Excellent review book for board preparation. Good variety of cases with adequate number of PET cases, which usually is a weakness in that type of book.
