Delicious
Amazingly surprised of how soft and fresh these were. Yes, it comes with the pod/seed inside and if you eat tamarindo, you know these are the best and not processed. Not too spicy and not to sweet . Perfect combo of salty, sweet and tajin-ish ,if you know miguelito kind of like that. Downside, the bad wad a bit small.

Natural and delicious
Delicious with natural ingredients so you don’t get CANCER. Anybody down voting this is lame. Yea there’s seeds in it but that’s because it’s less processed.

Surprisingly Good but……….
I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading the various reviews so I will try to describe them a bit better. If you have eaten natural sweet tamarind pods you know you must first remove the hard outer shell of the pods and the main fiber strands that surround the tasty pulp that in turn surrounds the plants hard shiny 1/2” seeds. When I say hard I actually mean SUPER HARD!! It could possibly be a very painful and expen$ive mistake to try and chew the seeds!😖😳🥵 So the maker of these tasty treats was nice enough to remove the exterior pod and hard fibers but left the shiny black seeds that actually sound like pebbles when they hit each other or your teeth, and they left the tough hulls that cover the seeds in the sweet sticky pulp. Normally eating these is a rather slow and messy process as the thin hard shells crumble into many small pieces. Then after removing the main fiber strands you can either use your fingernails to remove the seeds or pop the hole thing (or smaller bites) in your mouth including the 1-6 (or more) seeds and use your tongue and teeth to separate the seeds and spit them out. Sometimes I also spit out the small chewy, thin seed hulls. OK so then the manufacturer covers the raw tamarind pulp/seed portion with the sugar/chile powder/salt etc. They are pretty yummy and I have to force myself to stop eating them after about 5-7 of them to prevent overdosing on the sugar. 👉Now can anyone tell me how a product whose serving size is listed at 60 grams, has sugar as the second ingredient, has 40 grams of sugar per serving then says it has ZERO grams of added sugar?🤔😳🤭🤷🏻♂️WTF??🤷🏻♂️

A tasty way to fight GLP associated constipation
I purchase three-16oz pkg and snak sandwich bags to store. This brand has been very fresh which is key for consistency. Divide the tamarind into 10 small pieces per bag (this amount works for me) use daily over 30 days. You will notice that you are regular and no constipation. If you are seriously constipated to start consume a generous serving, do not eat the seeds, the tamarind will resolve your issues immediately. The key is finding the correct amount of Tamarind that works specifically for you. Caution if you over indulge the opposite effect WILL OCCUR. Less is truly more. This will keep you consistent and it is also a great source of magnesium.

Tastes good, but WAY too many seeds and bits
I was really excited to try Tamarindo De Frutas Con Chile Tamarind Bites given my love for tamarind candy, but unfortunately, this product didn’t live up to expectations. The flavor itself is good — the sweet and tangy tamarind with a hint of chile is definitely appealing. It has that authentic taste you’d expect from tamarind candy and a nice spicy kick. However, the flavor alone can't save this product from its major flaws. The biggest issue with these tamarind bites is the huge amount of seeds and bits of fruit inside. Every piece is littered with hard seeds and chunks of tamarind fruit, making it almost impossible to enjoy. The texture is off-putting, and the seeds are a real obstacle when trying to chew through the candy. It feels like you're eating more bits of fruit and seeds than actually enjoying the sweet treat itself. It’s frustrating because the flavor could be great if it weren’t for these texture issues. The seeds make it so difficult to eat, and the fruit bits just disrupt the overall experience. I ended up spitting out more than I actually enjoyed, which is a huge letdown. The packaging is fine, and the size is reasonable for the price, but the poor texture and large amount of inedible parts make this feel like a wasted purchase. I would definitely not buy these again. While the tamarind flavor is decent, the overwhelming presence of seeds and fruit bits makes Tamarindo De Frutas Con Chile Tamarind Bites almost inedible. If you’re looking for a smooth and enjoyable tamarind candy experience, this one misses the mark. Flavor is good, but the texture is a dealbreaker.
