Great but I wish it had a cinch cord at bottom
I bought this coat to wear with my 7 month old twins. I just got a doublecarrier (one on front & one on back) and needed a way to keep my babies warm while out and about. I am 5’6” and currently about 170pounds. I ordered a large to ensure that we will have enough room for this winter and next winter as well. It’s working out quite well, but I worry that my babies’ feet & legs will get cold if the weather outside is below freezing. I don’t want to dress them warmer because I worry about them overheating - this coat has been very warm during our outings (it was roughly 40*F during a recent hike while using this coat). However, if there was a cold wind it would definitely make it's way up through the bottom of the coat. I plan on making a modification to this coat to add a cinch cord to the bottom (like what is found on other winter coats I own).

Size up if you want to wear both babies.
Love this! Am returning for a larger size. It was just a little too snug and I want to be able to wear it as my babies grow. Soft material. No way cam I get back baby's hood on, had to have help to put on the jacket but I have permanent limited range in 1 elbow so that might be part of my problem. I'm 5'10" with a thin build but it needs more wiggle room for back baby. Needs a drawstring on waist.

No ma'am
Not a feminine at all. Looks frumpy. May be better for a man.

Love it!
I love this coat! I love in MN so I worried about it not being warm enough but I have been out with the twins in 7 degrees weather and was fine! I layered up a bIt and was sweating on our walk! It is very heavy sweatshirt material. It was tricky for me to get on at first but there is a size zipper which helps! Love it!

Favorite babywearing coat
Easy to use, extremely comfortable and very soft. I've tried other babywearing coats that worked fine for a front carry but were not great for a back carry. The Roocoat is perfect for front or back carrying and the full coat zipper with reach straps ensures that it will go on easily.

Perfect fit
Absolutely love this coat! I was going to buy a medium but thanks to the previous reviews I ended up ordering a small and its perfect. Very good quality and worth every penny

Great gift for any babywearing or expecting mom
I previously reviewed the single babywearing RooCoat last year (winter 2016). Like that coat, this one is made of thick sweatshirt material. It is a heavy coat, and will definitely keep you warm in colder weather. This coat has removable hoods for both the back, or the front child, as well as snaps to close up either the front or the back openings. In total, there are three hoods. One for the adult (with adjustable straps) and two for each child (with a snap on the hood to make them smaller for smaller babies). Because snaps close up the front and back openings, this makes the opening size adjustable. So if you have a tiny baby, you can easily make the opening smaller for that baby. The pockets are nice and deep and the coat is a very nice length. There is a cord attached to the zipper which makes it easier to pull the zipper up whether you are back carrying or front carrying.Size wise, this fits pretty true to size. I wear a size L for men's t-shirts, and so I ordered a size L coat. This fits perfectly with a toddler on my back and an infant on my front. There was still plenty of growing room. That being said, it is a little baggy with just one child in the coat, so you might want to order down a size if you only want to wear one baby. It was very easy to get the coat over my son's head while he was on my back. I think the way the zipper is off to one size facilitates the ease of getting the opening over the head of the child on the back.I absolutely love the removable hoods and that buttons close the openings up. This gives you so much versatility to use the coat with one, two, or even no children. You can wear the coat without any children, but it is very very baggy this way. However, if you were very pregnant, this would be a wonderful option with the ability to use the coat after your baby was born.Overall, this coat is very well made and very warm. I highly recommend it. It is easy to put on and has several different wearing options.

Great babywearing coat!
This is a great babywearing coat. I went with the tandem, as i have two littles, a baby and a toddler, this way i can wear both if needed. I ordered a large; at five two I have plenty of room to fit all three of us! But I do like things a little big, so this is a little long on my short frame, which will be great for sitting at a football game. My husband could also easily wear this, which is why i choose the nice Grey color. The long pull on the zipper is a great feature, and the snaps on the hoods are quick to change, on or off. The pockets are nice and deep, for all the little essentials like keys, phones a toy or change purse.I tried it out on a cool evening with a short sleeve shirt and was very comfortable even with a tiny heater baby attached. Baby was also quite comfy as he quickly fell asleep. It kept us cozy, not too warm because it was also nice and breathable. By adding a layer or two of clothing, or long sleeves, I'm sure it will hold up well against our winter weather. The materials are soft and durable feeling. It's like your favorite sweatshirt, comfortable and cute to boot.I put the toddler up for a few as well, and she loved the snuggles as well. See the attached picture. As you can see, I'll still have room for the baby on the front.
