Very sturdy seat base
This Attwood mount is exactly what you want if you’re looking for a sturdy boat seat base. The steel construction feels heavy duty and built to last, and the spring loaded locking pin engages smoothly with a reassuring click. I installed the Attwood 1002 Lock’N-Pin 3/4” Seat Mount on a new seat and pedestal for my bass boat, and I’m extremely impressed with the quality and performance. The steel construction feels solid and durable, and the spring-loaded design adds a nice bit of cushion and shock absorption when moving around the deck.The fit is tight and secure—no wobble or play in the seat, even when leaning and shifting during casting or running at speed. The Lock’N-Pin system works exactly as advertised, making the seat easy to remove when needed but locked down solid when in place.Installation was quick and hassle-free, and the 2-3/4” steel base paired perfectly with my pedestal.
