The Altra Torin 5 leather shoe feels very good and needed no breaking in.Similar to other reviewers, I was disappointed in the length of the shoelaces: they should be longer.

I love these shoes. I bought the Torin 5 last week, and puchased the leather version a few days later.They are the best fitting shoe I have ever found, and I am hard to fit. They have a wide toe box, a normal heel, gentle arch support, and a very comfortable, soft but supportive cushion - exactly what I needed and wanted.I have a size 7 left foot, and 7.5 right foot. I bought the Torin 5 (non-leather) in size 7.5. They fit great with a thinner sock. I bought the Torin leather size 8 to wear with heavier socks.When I first put these shoes on I wasn't sure that I would like them. Many shoes hurt my right foot arch. The Altra's felt like they had a soft lump at first. However, after wearing them for about 10 minutes the shoe seemed to conform to my feet.I have bought so many shoes with different sizes and widths, and hava drawer of arch supports that never worked. If they fit in the toe box, the heel often slips. Usually I can't wait to get my shoes off after a few hours. These are so comfortable, I actually like wearing them.They are a zero drop shoe, which is similar to walking barefoot.

I bought these in November 2021. I didn't wear them much at all through the winter. And I haven't been wearing them during the summer until a couple days ago. Walked a mile 3 days in a row. I noticed as I cleaned them yesterday that part of the sole at the outside toe area is peeling away and the tread at the ball of the foot is fairly worn down. Pretty expensive shoes to be showing so much wear with so little use. They are very comfortable, I will give you that, but I can't really afford to replace them as often as they seem to need to be replaced. Disappointed!

I had plantar fasciitis. I did some research and found these Altra shoes. I also have arthritis in my toes and the wide toe box is wonderful. Walking my mile in these shoes is very comfortable. I like the leather for winter. I also have 2 pair of the nylon for summer. I recommend this shoe

The quality is OK, slip resistant tread doesn't last very long. Overall this shoe has help with my back pain, and allows for my toes to not be smashed ❤️

The grey colored leather looks like plastic.

I like the appearance, they are comfortable to wear they don't put extra pressure on your toes. They're good quality and they give you good support.

Tiene mucho foam que ayuda a la hora de caminar pero si estas buscando estabilidad no tienen ese aprieto de estabilidad que necesitas son mas amplios(wide)
