Will this oil work in an air compressor

They sell specific oil for air compressors. This oil is to go in your air tools, not the compressor.

Will 3 and one oil; be adequate for this tool?

3 and 1 oil lubricant can desinagreat the seals in air tool, which can let dirt in and cause gumming up of air tool. So 3 n 1 is more for metal to metal moving part that work together like gears, chains, hinges. 10p is mineral based and formulated to seal the o rings and gaskets in the air tool..

What is the viscosity?

The viscosity per the MSDS is 14-16 cSt at 40C, so this equates to about a 1.5W oil. Those saying 10 are grossly misinformed.

Is this oil Synthetic? And what viscosity grade is it?
