Tim HoltzRanger AAIS-22046 Ranger 1/2 Ounce Adirondack Alcohol Ink Singles, Ginger

I had seen several people who work with alcohol inks a lot recommend this color (lemonade.) I didn't know why - I didn't anticipate using a whole lot of yellow, and spending over $6.50 on one bottle of AI seemed ridiculous to me. Enter Christmas 2019 when I made gifts using alcohol inks as a main component for all of my friends and extended family members. I wound up giving into the overpriced AI in the shade of lemonade...and I've got to say, I'm so glad I did! Lemonade is a light but intense yellow hue - much prettier than the dandelion I had been making do with. I love this yellow color and can now understand why so many use this color over the other available yellows. Not only is it a beautiful color, but it doesn't go "rank" like yellow so often does when mixed with different colors. It blends much more comfortable than dandelion and is just a more versatile color overall. Even at the increased cost, my AI toolbox will not be without lemonade - I will use this color a lot more than I ever used dandelion. I am thrilled with my purchase and recommend adding lemonade to your AI toolbox if you are trying to build a versatile mix of colors. I am confident you will love lemonade as much as I do!

I recently began making tumblers, and I wanted to make a wood grain tumbler. I used this Ginger alcohol ink to simulate the wood grain. It came out beautiful. The cup looks like it was carved from wood. I have never worked with alcohol inks before, but this was easy. The quality is good, and I'll be ordering more colors for more projects.

Love the Tim Holtz inks

This is exactly the color I was looking for my polymer clay. It is a soft warm pink more pink/peachy than a bluer magenta/lavender so it makes for much more natural flesh tone or.petals. A drop is enough to color and eight of a block of poly clay. It remains transluscent so wojld work for rosy quartz effect. Just love it!!!!!

This particular color of green (botanical) was rather difficult to locate but it is the color I prefer for making faux tulip leaves. It works well in UV and epoxy resin also. While I like the Tim Holtz inks, I'm hoping to find another brand in a similar color because of the extreme cost.

I just started using alcohol ink. Tim Holtz-Ranger is my favorite. I love the effect that this leaves on my tumblers when I am finish with them. The color does not fade when epoxy hits it. AMAZING INK!!

beautiful rich gold...it was a little too thick for me so I diluted it. A little goes a long way...I would use a detailing paint brush when applying for gold accents unless you want a large space with gold accent and in that case, just drop some on your substrate and create! Great price (at the time) and speedy delivery.

I don’t know why I expected this to be super bright but it’s just a regular gold paint. It’s just pigmented enough that you just need one layer basically. I was hoping for a super bright gold so was disappointed but was my first experience with alcohol inks so now I know!
