Pricey Replacement But It works
Everything worked fine. There was a small note enclosed from the seller to reset both the main and remote units. Something I have to do when changing batteries. Original unit went dark after about 15 years, but the humidity stopped working after 10 years. Not a big deal in Phoenix. I'm thinking the dust storms probably coated the plates inside or whatever is used to measure moisture. I chose this unit because I often look at the display outside.

A most handy gadget! Works very well!
Very satisfied with this replacement sensor! Seems to work even better that the original. I was very happy to find this was still available at a fair price. I don't know how we ever got along without this great invention! It tells the indoor temperature and humidity as well as the outdoor data which is mainly why I bought it.

Love all Oregon weather toys.
Good quality and value for the cost. Easy to setup and use. Remember it is weather resistant not weather proof. Be aware of where you place it.

Sensor worked
It worked with the weather station that I already had which is what I wanted. Had to research a bit to find the correct sensor, but I did that and what I purchased is fine.

Great Customer Service
After receiving the sensor, I could not get it to work with my base station. After an email to their customer service, I got a very quick and nice helpful reply that gave me very clear instructions on how to reset the unit. It has worked perfectly ever since.

Rusts out within two years.
This Water Resistant Remote Sensor rusts out within two years. Purchased two of these when the second sensor I purchased stated to display LLL where the temp is displayed like the first sensor I replaced. I ripped it open to see what was going on? It was all rust inside see photos. Water resistant is an overstatement. There is no seal around the housing moisture will be get in. See photos. These were not left in a puddle or a snow bank they we hung up and concealed with minimal direct water exposure but they were outside in Wisconsin. If you are looking for an indoor temp sensor they should work but avoid if using outside.

Good instrument but...
Good instrument. I would give it a 4 star but it is way over priced.
