RayPow - MacBook Pro/Air 60W Power Adapter/Charger/Supply/Cord with T Shape Connector, Replacement Charger for 13 inch Apple MacBook Air/Pro [with Retina Display] Produced After Mid 2012

This power cord and converter seems to work as well as the authentic Apple one, and costs about half the price of the Apple one. Its wire too, might crack and be useless in a short period, esp if my kitty keeps chewing on it, but now buying another replacement isn't as big an expense.Given the relatively low-tech of power cords/converters, the requirement to be interoperable, and the PRC's long history of predatory market share tactics, Apple really should re-consider its pricing strategy esp for after-market accessories. I am surprised Apple does not protect its differentiable features such as the pop-outs for winding up the cord ("cord keeper"?) and in/out socket. Maybe there's a huge, class action patent infringement suit going on?

I've had this charger for less than 3 months and it is already not working. That little removable magnetic thing in the upper right corner of the big square does not read it's connection anymore. Super frustrating b/c I am already past my return date and now stuck with it when it didn't even work for 3 months. I guess this is one downside to Amazon Prime? We love having it and use it quite often, but if you are tryign to return an item past the return window, you can't just take it in to the store and talk to someone... So what does one do? In hind site, These are not cheap... it should work for way longer than it did.I'm trying to contact Amazon about replacing the item through the company but can not find a way to do so... any suggestions out there?TIA!

I'm very disappointed with this power adapter. It will sometimes charge but you have to get it connected just right. The other reviews were great so I'm thinking we just got an faulty product?! I would not recommend this item unless you have time on your hands to hold it just right so your computer can charge : /

My old MacBook charger finally broke on me after four years and I wasn't too keen on spending around $80 for a new one. I'm super happy with this replacement. I've been using it for about three weeks and am very satisfied. No issues to report; it does the job for half the price!

I wasn't aware that it came with the outlet plug so I didn't need to buy the other part of it. I read some of the reviews and was nervous. However I plugged it in to my outlet, connected to my laptop and boom charged no problem. So happy!

Worked perfectly for first few weeks, but now very loose where I have to plug it in to an outlet. Have to play with it for atleast 5 minutes to get to to stay w the outlet, and then afraid to move it in the slightest.

Awesome charger! I haven't been using it long, maybe 2 weeks or so, but so far no problems and works exactly as an apply charger would. Great product for the price.

ordered when my mac charger stopped working. actually has worked for longer than my official charger did.
