These were effective without making my dog completely loopy. He actually enjoyed eating them. No funky smell they look just like treats. I tried another brand my dog who eats anything wouldn’t eat those My only wish would be they made a large breed version. I have to give him six based on his weight.

I ordered these calming chews for my dogs before a 3‑hour drive to DC, and they worked better than I expected. They usually gets anxious in the car — pacing, whining, trying to climb into the front — but about 30 minutes after taking the chew, they settled in and actually relaxed. No drowsy “knocked out” vibe, just calm and comfortable. The texture was soft enough that they ate it without hesitation, and there were no stomach issues afterward. They didn’t smell strongly as I didn’t notice a smell. They stayed relaxed the entire trip, even through traffic and stop‑and‑go stretches that normally stress them out. If your dog gets nervous in the car, these are absolutely worth trying. They made the whole trip smoother for us.

I bought the calm chews because I have a 3 yr old Terrier Mix who has a lot of energy. The calms seem to chill him out but it takes about an hr to take affect and only last for two hrs after. He gets a morning chew , an afternoon chew, and evening. The chews are based on size of your pet mine is about 50lbs so I spread out the chews throughout the day works fine for us. Without the chews we would have to go for several walks in the day to calm him down or at least get him tired. This works for us each pet is different may not work for you. We put the chew in with his food as a treat and that seems to work. Because the bag is on the small side it lasts a few weeks.(Probably 2-3) Maybe. My dog has no problem with the taste and seems to digest the chew without any issues. Has a nice package that you zip to keep fresh . I plan on continue to purchase this product.

These have been life changers in my house. My senior 13 year old 50 pd Corgie mix has dementia, and these have very much helped calm her down and stopped her from wandering the house all night. After an hour of taking these, she settles down and sleeps through the night. They are chews, but they almost feel like beef jerky in texture. They smell like any other dog treat, and my dog has no issues taking them, and swallowing them down. I do think if your dog has any kind of dental issues or is missing a significant number of teeth, these may not be for you, however, they are small enough for small dogs to take if you have a smaller breed of animal. The label says they have 5 mg's of melatonin in one piece, which should be enough for a 50 pound dog per my doctor recommendations, but I need to give my dog 2 chews to be effective. I will also note, the label does state to give a dog my size two of them. No other side effects or other things have happened, and My dog enjoys getting these treats every night. I'm definitely putting these on an auto script, but note they only have 30 chews. If you have a bigger dog like me, you will need to purchase 2 bags per month if your dogs needs these every night like mine does. I would say they are definitely good value for the money, and i will be putting these on auto subscribe.

Gonna give it 4 stars simply cause there's nothign I can see that is wrong with them. My dog ate it right up, but then again, she'd eat a piece of paper if I dropped it on the ground. We bought these after we were over at my sisters house for dinner one night, she has a massive husky, and my niece who at the time lived there also, has another husky... not quite as big as Zuko, but still a big dog. 50-60lbs maybe. Maybe 2 years old. Dog is always "on 10". Anyways, a while after we got there, he's ZONKED out. Don't think I'd ever seen that so I commented on it, she's gives me the link to these. She warned us that one of these is good for a 25lb dog, she gave hers 2. We gave our 15lb dog one when we got them, didn't do anything. She was still just as freaked out by rain as normal. Oh well, not the result we hoped for but they did work on my niece's husky. So take that for whatever it's worth.
