I was dissatisfied with these gloves because the pattern of the red (silicone) markings did not seem dense enough and even just picking up a stock pot with just boiling water (to test them), i felt more warmth than I was comfortable. I use my cast iron dutch oven a lot and i would not feel secure using these BBQ gloves.I appreciate that they allowed me to return the gloves for a full refund.

Gloves are made for a large man's hand.
The fingers of these gloves are huge. At least 1 inch longer than my fingers. I have a medium sized woman's hand. I've used the gloves anyway and they are okay. My hands got warm but not hot removing items from a 500 degree oven. But I believe the company claims they are good to 900 degrees. No way.

A must have cooking gloves
OMG these are GREAT!!!! They are large enough to fit my husband. They are not heavy. I love how well they grip onto hot pans. My hands do not feel hot at all when I'm using them. A must have item for any kitchen.

HAND AND WRIST SAVERS
These gloves are wonderful for both grilling and grabbing hot items from the oven. After several instances of painful burns on my hand and wrist , I decided I needed protective gear. I ordered these gloves and was very pleased, so much so that i bought a pair for my niece. They are a "one size fits all'' and may be a little big for some, but that does not deter from their usefulness. Both the men and women in our family use them successfully. No more oven or grill burns!!!
