Thinkbee Wireless Mini Remote Control Switch Kit - No Wiring, No WiFi, Replacement for Old Pull Chain Switches

Worked great. I got this to replace a wall switch that was hard to get to. Wired in easily, but the control box will fill an electrical box if there are more than two cables in the box, (Mine had 3) but it did fit and it works great.

Installed some pendant lights so we don’t have to turn on and off our room lights or get out of bed. Works VERY well!

Our new house had 2 ceiling fans on the front porch controlled by the pull chains and a single switch. One of the fans was in front of the door which blocked a normal swinging door and required a retractable screen which we didn't like. I wanted to replace the screen, which meant one of the fans had to go, and we wanted a regular porch light in its place.This remote allowed us to do exactly that, and to control the light independent of the second fan (which I also added a remote to). The receiver is very small and easily fit into the base of the light and could have gone into the electrical box if necessary.One nice feature was that the receiver can be set up to determine how the attached device is powered when the power is turned on. I have it set to be "always on" when the switch is turned on, so the light works like a normal outside light. If we are sitting under the fan and want the light off, I have the remote to do that.Installation is easy if you are comfortable with basic household wiring. It comes with some interesting electrical connectors (with no instructions) which I did not use, I was more comfortable with wire nuts.The instructions are written in what I call Chinglish (I wish Chinese companies would have instructions written by people who actually speak English), but not as bad as some. Read them carefully, especially if you want to change any of the default settings, like the power on state.As I said, exactly what we needed, and I would buy it again.

We purchased three to use for one chandelier and two ceiling lights. It was easy to install and worked perfectly.

I found out the hard way it didn’t work with a dimmer light switch. It would be nice if turning the wall light switch on always turns the light on that’s connected to the device, but you have to use the remote to turn the light on each time the switch is turned on. Still a great product, and easy to install. It tucked easily into the electrical box behind a wall sconce.

I wanted to replace the ceiling fan in my living room with a beautiful light fixture I found here on Amazon. Unfortunately, my older home does not have an electrical switch so the fan with pull chains was the only thing that could operate a ceiling fixture there. My nephew recommended a remote. I purchased this one because it was small enough and we knew it would be difficult to fit one in. It was indeed a tight fit on this particular light fixture but in the end it worked out well. It looks to be well built and so far has worked perfectly.

Simple to install. Well made. Great packaging. Works great. Even though it's a German and Welsh company it's made in China and the Chinese to English translation for the instructions is hilarious.
