totally recommend.
I love it, it’s so interesting and weird plus I love vampires. I would describe it as coming of age and angsty.

A Great Psychedelic Drug Trip
Great. Love this artist's and authors unique visuals - akin to a psychedelic drug trip, but a controlled and enjoyable one.I can talk a lot about it, but the characters are solid, story and pacing are great, and vampires are respectfully done here. More to be unvealed in coming volumes. If you liked Flowers of Evil, you are for sure going to enjoy this one. Even if not, it is good.

So far this is his weakest work that I've read, and its still good!
Look, I'm a huge Oshimi fan, I adore so much about his work, its truely brilliant...well, most of it is. Right now I'll say this, it's a good manga, I don't hate anything about it so far. But to me, this isn't the most engaging thing I've read from him, it's the story and characters, the stakes just don't seem high which feels weird since I know if I said this out loud then described whats it's about to someone they'd most likely be curious why I'd think that, but this is just a personal issue. The characters are kinda boring, mainly the protagonist. He's introduced as a lonely teenager...now he's not, now he has powers...and like...now He's not a lonely teenager wow yay...ya know what this setup is not? Original is what it is not. The other characters are fine, but it feels like they just act the exact same way anytime they interact with the protagonist, they aren't too layered, just flat, (the character traits, don't be dirty). The short haired girl, "hi protagonist name, something something unimportant generic something something talk, other girl whos tall and has a scene sucking her boyfriend, "hi boyfriend, wheres my boyfriend, boyfriend something talk". This is only vol 2, here's hoping it'll get better. Remember, I think its good so far, I just want it to become more. Not a waste of money in the slightest, the art is nice, and the cover art, it's absolutely stunning. Amazing artist, good manga, keep it up!!!

Judged by the Cover; sublime.
The manga Artist had me at Page One! The Art work is full of expression. The font is bold, large, very easy to read. The subject matter is haunting, frightening, suspenseful, and yes at times, horrific. Aye, there will be blood in this manga series. Well paced tension. Masterfully executed.

still going strong
Happiness Volume 2 picks up were volume 1 left off, so if you havent read volume 1, i suggest you do.Volume 2 is a great continuation from volume 1, and makes it worth it for readers of volume 1 to continue.

Amazing story and art, but package came damaged
This review is based on shipping alone and not on story/art. My husband and I picked up the first volume at a local bookstore and couldn’t find volume two anywhere. Resorted to Amazon, as we do as most books are often better priced on here. Just finished and it was amazing 10/10, can’t wait for volume three restock! Unfortunately our book came badly bent and damaged. Will be returning and exchanging for a new one. Hopeful for the next delivery!

4.5
Again, would be a 5 start if it wasn't for the crotch shots. It's just weird especially when he makes it a point to do an initial shot then a zoomed in shot. Just odd lmao.
