So good...
I'm not really a "fan" of sea urchin roe... it's alright and I do get it once in awhile, but the sea urchin roe you'd get at a sushi restaurant is worlds apart from this sauce. This sauce tastes amazing. Best way to describe it would be to say that it tastes like the sea. I don't read Japanese, so I'm taking it on faith that it's fermented sea urchin (fish sauce but with sea urchin roe instead of fish). It's definitely tasty! If you're the least bit interested, you won't be disappointed. Except that the bottle is too small, or I eat it too fast (haven't figured out which), and, on a serious note, takes a while to arrive. Not that it's the shipper's fault. It did arrive a little sooner than estimated. Overall, I can definitely recommend this.

Very easy to use and adaptable using various toppings!
I’m a huge UNI fan but more likely than not, sushi restaurants rarely have it available. I was absolutely in heaven with my easy Uni pasta sauce. Crazy good! I googled recipes ...combined 2 (Epicurious’s October 2016 Eric Ripert and Open Source Food). didn’t have caviar to top it...used very small slivers of dried seaweed for garnish. Also suggested pinches of bonito flakes. It is very adaptable but loved using butter, cream, sautéed finally minced garlic, shallots, shiitakes parmesean cheese is a must! It’s a WOW!!!

The taste is fantastic!
I think I might like this better the fish sauce! Wonder what the two would tast like combined? I’ll try it tonight. I tried it mixed with fish sauce and Japanese cooking wine. Fantastic!!!! Next step is a seafood chowder!

Great for making salad dressings
Used to make a lovely salad dressing for a salad of butter lettuce, scallops and heirloom tomatoes topped with roe. Will buy again.
