Wonderful house warning gift. Even after 50 years of marriage we appreciated the gift of the candle. Very warm and thoughtful sentiment. Lovely aroma. We have just moved in to our new home. After all these years we did not dream of buying a new house. But as luck would have it we did. It is wonderful to have friends gift us with this candle. Very appreciated gift.

I am not crazy about the scent and the box was damaged ant looks used. I cannot even give the gift in the box because it was so badly damaged. Not impressed!

Looks good. Arrived quickly. Smells like a strong old perfume.

In theory, this should be a cute gift but you can’t give someone a cute candle that smells bad. This was not a pleasing scent. I thought it smelled like an old lady’s home and my friend thought it smelled like cleaning products.

The scent and saying is nice but the front of the candle is tacky. It is simply a printed white paper sticker. In fact, some of the words bled on the paper and you can see roll marks where the sticker came off the printer. I would never give this as a gift. I peeled off the sticker and but it in my bathroom.

It didn't have a strong smell but had a nice scent of something sweet and some vanilla. The packaging it came in is super cute if you plan on gifting it, and I had no problem lighting it up or having it continue to burn.This is a pretty gender-neutral scent as far as candles go. Definitely not "manly" but it doesn't smell "girly" or floral either. Not sure how else to describe it: sugar cookie maybe?
