Perfect replacement, but... Leaks at shutoff valve, possible low head backflow.
This replacement zone valve was the perfect fit. Easy to install. If I can just figure out how to keep water from leaking! I've watched plenty of YouTubes and all different positions. I have to manually shut it off between use, which is very inconvenient. I believe it is because of low head backflow, my zone controller is lower at this zone. But it didn't leak before it was replaced because of very recent leaking there. I've already spent too much on previous professional repairs and am just living with it for now, because I am very happy to have use of my sprinkler system. It is a very slow leak that only fills up the hole for the zone valve.

Lasted 9 years in South Dakota weather.
Bought 6 of these in 2014. Lasted up til 2023. One valve has a bad solenoid (the threaded part busted so I can't screw it into the valve body; the electrical part of the solenoid is still okay). Other 5 valves are still working okay. I think that's a pretty good track record. I noticed they changed the solenoid style away from a gun grip, but I expect the new style solenoid should screw right in to the old body so that I don't need to redo the whole plumbing on that one valve.

Not new
The listing did not state that I would get an apparent store return: no original packaging, no installation or user instructions. Looking at the wiring somebody obviously already tried to connect it. So now I have to second guess why it was returned.

identical replacement
Precise replacement for a 25 year old control valve that was failing. Cheaper and easier to replace whole unit than to try to replace components on the original.
