This paper is great for gel-printing and it holds up incredibly well, while still being easy to tear apart and cut. It is lightweight and translucent, maybe ever so slightly thicker than normal tissue paper but not noticeably so

Flimsier than I expected and I thought it would shrink to fit. Seems expensive for what it is.

I feel that the negative reviews of this product are unfair. This is NOT regular, decorative tissue paper that you use for gift wrapping. If that’s what you need, look elsewhere. This tissue paper is WET TISSUE PAPER. That means that it is especially made to not fall apart when wet. So it is good for crafts such as decoupage, mixed media, etc. You can see in my attached photo how I decoupaged a piece of this tissue, that I had previously stamped a black leaf pattern and stenciled a gold pattern onto, over some old sheet music on this mixed-media painting I’m working on. (It’s still a work-in-progress.)

Real wet strength paper. Held together well under stress when wet. Unfortunately my dog got hold of the package and tear tested much of it for me! This is why her nick name is "land shark".

This paper gives the artist an opportunity to create beyond the usual paints that are available. Not suitable for children as they may not have the skills to use it as intended. This paper is not easily obtained on the local market and I am grateful that Amazon had it.

This paper was recommended to me by artists in the UK. I was excited to find it on Amazon. Quality is good. Works well for printing with Geli plates. The value for the money is way out of whack. I won’t buy it again. The person that told me about it was shocked at the cost and told me to call the company to get it shipped - that it was a lot cheaper. I’m going to try other papers that are similar.

I purchased this paper for my gelli printing and I love it. Much stronger than plain tissue paper. Nice quality and I would purchase again.

This is the correct strength tissue for collage and gelli printing art work! Glad I found it.

Cercavo una carta velina 'wet strength', cioè resistente all'acqua. Lavoro con le piastre gel, e mi occorre per realizzare stampe colorate da usare nei collage. La velina normale non assorbe i colori come questa, si raggrinzisce e spesso si rompe. Questa velina è invece adatta alle necessità di chi lavora con 'gel plate'
