A phenomenal upgrade to an already superior product
I had the first iteration of this headset and reviewed and rated it highly, but it did have some issues. The primary and most important issue is that the original one would allow the actual Oculus to slide off from the headset. It didn't happen much, but it did always have me on guard to catch it if need be. The back of the unit also didn't stay cupped to your head as nicely as it could. Still, it was the nicest headset I had tried out for the Oculus at that point and of great quality and comfort! Now they put out the version that definitely tops it fixing the two biggest gripes on the last version even though I still absolutely felt the last one was of great quality. This one does not slide from its adjustment but is still easy to adjust. Then, where the back of it wraps around your head, they added a piece that cups around your skull better providing an even greater fit even including an additional piece for smaller head sizes! If you didn't read my original review, no worries. This one was a vast improvement on a great headset. The audio on this is exceptional! The comfort level is exceptional! You can wear this thing for hours without feeling the weight of the headset on your face or your head. The cushioned lining is extremely soft and nice and doesn't seem to get sweaty or easily dirty. My only gripe currently is the color isn't the best choice in my opinion (black is always the best option! ;) ).As a former owner of 2 cracked Oculus branded Elite Head Straps and a few other third party headset straps, this is easily the winner. You will not regret this purchase!

Extremely Comfortable!!
Firstly this is a vast improvement upon the previous version. The previous version had foam padding which the cover skin over it was thin and easily breakable. With this version there's no foam but nice Plu leather. And it having over the ear speakers attached to our is a nice touch. Also the cream orange color to it contrasting the white color of the Quest just makes it stand out nicely. But the comfort!! Oh the comfort!! I have tested this for a whole week on the most active games on Quest (Pistol Whip, Population One, Death Horizon, Espire 1, Contractors etc.) and can tell you the fit is both snug enough for gameplay and comfortable enough for long sessions. I'm talking with the extra hours that a battery pack (VR Power II) made for Quest provides.I have tried now 3 different third party Halo straps and this one takes the cake in comfort. The circular padding that supports the back of the head nestles it nicely!! And it's a choice peripheral that uses Velcro to attach. And the movable forehead piece never puts pressure on my head like the others. And it's just so convenient to have speakers connected to your Quest do you don't have to worry about earbud wires getting in your way or taking your nose or chin as you play. And the sound quality isn't bad at all. It uses a good tipped jack that goes into the Quest.I have to really keep track of my time in my VR because with the addition of the good battery pack I have and the comfort of your Halo strap there's no other indicator of how much time I spend in VR unless I put an alarmed timer on fun my phone!!

Comprehensive product at a competitive price
This strap is perfect as your first, providing an easy to install and adjust halo strap and headphones both of which are comfortable with cushy material. While I am already impressed with the audio of an unmodded quest 2, this strap does enhance immersion, my only complaint being that the size of the ear cups is oddly small. Having them actually cover your ears would greatly improve this product.Although this strap feels a tad finnicky and lacking a cohesive, intuitive design to make it premium, it works. Once you adjust the strap to fit right, which is incredibly easy, it is close to perfect and far superior to the standard oculus quest 2 straps. For the price, this is hard to beat.My only annoyance is that tightening the strap using the dial on the back has caught a hair every single time. I am not faulting this on the strap entirely but this is something worth noting if you have medium to long hair.

Better than I expected
Was first considering buying a HTC Deluxe Audio Strap for my quest 2, but decided to go for this one instead since it was much cheaper and I wouldn't have had to buy a separate 3d printed adapter. I really don't regret it, it's extremely comfortable and the sound is very decent. Well worth 80$.

Comfortable fit perfect for the Quest 2
I've tried the HTC DAS, The BOBOVR M2 & many many others. I've got 5 headsets, (HTC Vive, Valve Index, 2 x Quest 2 & 1 x Quest 1) & each has had multiple straps. But the best comfort fit I've experienced is this one. The headphones are decent too. Perfect for a Quest 2 IMHO.

Pros and cons
I purchased this replacement strap to compare with the Quest 2's stock strap and Elite Battery Strap, both of which I own. It's an improvement over the stock strap but not a clear winner over the Elite Battery Strap. Here are some of the pros and cons...Quality: It's a bit finicky to get it to fit properly and I suspect some people won't find the vertical sweet spot. I wrestled with it quite a bit to get the headset positioned such that things were in focus. On the plus side, all that wrestling gave me some comfort that the strap can hold up to some abuse -- despite feeling light and a bit flimsy. The Oculus Elite Straps have had some issues with the side straps cracking and breaking. I can't speak to how long this will last.Weight: This strap is effective at transferring most of the weight to your forehead instead of your face. That's a plus. The piece sitting atop your forehead means the headset won't slide down your face when you get sweaty. That can be a problem with the Elite Strap.Fit: While staying put vertically, the headset slides a bit too readily in a lateral direction such as when dodging walls in FitXR. The picture will be out of focus until you return to upright. This happens with the Elite Strap too but to a lesser degree because the pressure is on your brow and cheeks which provides some more lateral resistance.Comfort: You have to ratchet it fairly tight on your head but that's not a huge concern when the pressure is on your upper forehead. That tightness may aggravate the neck muscles at the base of your skull though. That's a problem with most straps that cup the back of your head with a firm rubber piece without extra padding.Audio: The attached headphones likely won't impress an audiophile but they do provide better audio range than the built-in Quest 2 drivers. So you can expect better base and to pick up on more subtleties in the higher range.Quality: It's light which can make it feel a bit cheap in spots, particularly the noisy ratcheting as you tighten and loosen the side strap. While this is called the "Premium Deluxe Audio Strap", the well-known "HTC Deluxe Audio Strap" has better build quality and audio. However, the HTC DAS is hard to find and about $60 more expensive, so nearly twice the price.Size: The forehead piece folds down so the whole thing packs flat which is great. It won't fit inside the official Oculus case because of the headphones but unless you bought the Elite Battery Strap you probably don't own the official case. It would be nice if the headphones were removable with a simple clip. That way I could use the headphones at home but pop them off when traveling to make the whole apparatus pack smaller.Rating: If the stock strap is a 3 star and the HTC DAS is a 5 star, then this strap is a 3.75, and the Elite Battery Strap is a 4-4.25.Conclusion: Like I said, pros and cons. If you currently use the stock strap and find it uncomfortable, and you're disappointed by the audio quality, then you'll likely consider this a good improvement. I'll be sticking with my Elite Battery Strap because the battery life and ability to fit inside the compact Oculus carrying case is more important to me than the improved audio. Your criteria and priorities may be different than mine. Hopefully this balanced review will help you make the best choice for your particular circumstances.
