Complete Masterworks: 3. aktualisierte und erweiterte japanisch-englische Originalausgabe

I first enjoyed Sorayama's art about 20 years ago, at which point I realised just how great an artist he was, now I'm about to do an Art course to design my own book covers and I wanted to compile my own little collection of Best of's.I had Art books books of Luis Royo, and Julie Bell's art, and recently ordered this book and Boris Vallego's Art technique book (Boris's book I had shortly after its initial release, but it went walk about, thats how good these four artists are.)

Hade kanske velat ha den i större format, men det är väl ända klagomålet..

Endlich die Neuauflage des sehr schönen Sammelbandes. Zahlreiche (aber nicht 'complete') Werke aus den Bereichen Erotik, Pin-Up, Bondage und Science Fiction, bunt gemischt aber in schöner Qualität. Für Fans oder Interessierte an den Genres definitiv empfehlenswert. Der Umschlag ist leider etwas weich (kein Hardcover aber eben auch kein Taschenbuchumschlag), das Cover wurde mit einem metallischen Glanz veredelt.Einen Stern Abzug gibt es für das Format das seinen Arbeiten überhaupt nicht gerecht wird. Das Buch ist einfach zu klein, teilweise finden 6-7 Bilder auf den Seiten Platz und man kann die Details gar nicht erkennen.Das Format von "Pussycat! Kill! Kill! Kill!" und "Tokyo Sweet Gwendoline" ist sehr viel schöner, beide Bücher kann ich auch nur empfehlen.Grundsätzlich aber sehr empfehlenswert.
