Purchased for a classroom since a sitting teacher might as well not be there. My laptop is attached to the promethean board and I needed something I could access my laptop for the lessons we were doing, check attendance and walk away. I'm pretty short so all heights worked for me, but I have high 'bar' level chair upfront and I can comfortable sit in my chair during planning and work, and then stand and teach and quickly change things without the kids thinking that I've left the building. It rolls well out of the way on the tile floor and it was decent to assemble. Lots of other teachers commented how much they liked the set up. My only wish would be the holes of the cords would be maybe closer the bottom. I have promethean HDMI cord that huge and not very flexible and it is a bit of a maneuver to get into my laptop and keep everything flat. I could have left the back 'guard' off and achieved this too.

This desk is great! It was easy to assemble and honestly, much sturdier than I expected. It was needed to hold a laptop and some other gear during a multi-day presentation. The size was great for the small space we had available and it held all the needed gear with room to spare. It also looked nice, unlike a lot of options out there. Kind of wish I had one at home instead of my giant space hog desk.

Should have returned. Cheap, rickety. Misaligned and does not raise or lower evenly.

Well built. Love the flexibility. Perfect for my laptop. Takes up very little space and maneuverable. Was very easy to assemble. Very clear instructions and tools. Love it.

I LOVE THIS DESK. I can move this to any spot in the house. I especially like the holes for the cords to go through the "backsplash" and the tray underneath for a power strip, etc. I use the slot on top for my tablet and digital tablet. The hole in the slot allow for charging without having cables all over the place. This is also handy to stand documents up that you are reading from while you type. I have a 15 inch laptop and the depth allows for me to hide things behind it like a USB strip,small basket, external drive and a DVD drive. I really like the "backsplash". I don't worry about things falling off the back. I was able to hang plastic beverage holders (like those used on boats) on the side backsplash. One I use for beverages (keeps it away from work surface) and the other I put a plastic cup in it and use it to store pencils, pens, scissors, etc. I also purchased two white wired hanging shelves that are normally used to organize kitchen cabinets. They slide and hang under the work surface leaving enough room for my legs. They are 3-sided with an opening in the front. There is enough storage to allow me to store 8-1/2x11" size paper, folders, All of this leaves me almost half of the top for my mouse and whatever. I also added an "S" hook on the back to hang the power strip cord when I move it around. I haven't needed to use the height adjustment feature yet. I will because sometimes I work standing up. I burn more calories that way. I would recommend it for people who don't have room for a large desk and who like to move around. The extras I added make it more functional. I tried another small table top stand but it was too small and no room for improvements. This is a perfect desk for me.
