I drink a lot of tea but don't love super hot beverages. Depending on the tea I drink the water starts at as little as 140F or as high as 185F. I drink the cooler tea right away but when steeping at 170+ I let the tea cool to a temp I can drink it at.This mug keeps the tea way too hot for a very long time, which is fine if I'm not going to be drinking it right away, but if I want to drink it soon I can't put the lid on it.The advantage is I can enjoy the fragrance of the tea while it cools. I usually take a few minutes to relax, blow on the surface of the tea, and breath in the fragrance of the tea as it cools. Once it hits a good temp I pop the lid on. The tea stays very warm but at a drinkable temp for a good long while, so I can enjoy my tea for longer. It's a win, win. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good cup, good value. O.k. Lid. *by E***O on Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2017* Very sturdy, I use for coffee and it keeps it warm very well. I also like that if remove the lid and drink from the cup, it has a nice lip. Gave it 4 star because I'm not in love with the lid. This is a commonly used lid (I also bought a Mossy Oak cup from wall mart, same lid style.) it will leak, and if you put in in a cup holder say, in a backpack, it is easy to bump and accidentally slide open, spilling your drink. Pretty much good for desk top or in car use only, not when walking about. Also good if you like drinking with a straw. You have to pop it apart to clean properly, which I imagine will eventually wear down and break. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I really like this tumbler *by F***P on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2017* I really like this tumbler, it keeps both hot and cold beverages for several hours. The top on this tumbler is way better than any of the others I have seen, including the high-priced aftermarket tops. I deducted 2 stars because it is listed as a 20oz tumbler but holds only 16oz. I sure wish it actually held 20oz. it would get 5 stars for sure. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/36172115-stainless-steel-coffee-tumbler-20-oz-double-wall-vacuum-insulated](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/36172115-stainless-steel-coffee-tumbler-20-oz-double-wall-vacuum-insulated) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
