What a fantastic product! I purchased this for my son for Christmas. He is an Avid surfer and skim border. Living in Virginia Beach, affords him the opportunity to surf year round. Of course a wetsuit is necessary which is where this product comes in extremely handy.Prior to him getting this surf poncho, he would take a beach towel, peel his wetsuit down to his waist and then proceeded to wrap the beach towel around his waist and take off the rest of the wetsuit hoping the beach towels with stay in place and that any others around would not get a free show! LOL! Also, he had to contend with the cooler air hitting his upper body as he changed out of the wetsuit and tried to slip on some shorts or sweatpants again, while hoping that the towel would stay put. This product put an end to those worries. He absolutely loves his surf poncho. It is a durable and weighted product that has a full coverage oversized Hood to be sure those cold braces stay on the back of your neck. It has ample room inside for drawing in your arms from the mid-length loose-fitting sleeves so that changing is relatively effortless. It gives full coverage from the top of your head to the middle all of your calves. It is warm, and very comfy. It is 100% cotton and therefore highly absorbent wicking away moisture so that drying off takes place very quickly and you stay nice and warm in the process. Many times my son will just put on a pair of sweatpants after changing out of his wetsuit, still wearing his surf poncho , and will drive home with it on. I asked him if it seemed damp to him as he I just finished surfing. He told me not at all, and then proceeded to thank me upside down, inside out, and sideways for getting him this surf poncho. And don't think for a minute, that you have to be a surfer in order to appreciate this product. This is a wonderful Beach cover-up if you are going to the beach early in the season where the wind may still be blowing a bit or even as a summer cover up is that can be worn into the evening to help keep warm after the sun goes down at the beach. I would highly recommend this product and I would tell you by all means, give it a try. I don't think you will be disappointed!

This product is quality soft absorbent material! It is amazingly comfortable and looks great everything about it is well made I gave it five stars without any hesitation nothing to complain about. However I did return mine lol.. its too thick for my purpose, the same company offers a more lightweight version which is equally amazing and is better suited for my purpose. this product is quality! and large! it is not meant for tight spaces or getting by if you're on a bicycle and intend to swim.. get the lightweight version I'm going to write a review for that one as well because it is great
