Evil Energy 3.0 Inch V Band Clamp with Flange Male Female Mild Steel

I purchased these clamps as a budget alternative to some of the high cost clamps. Let me say that the quality is every bit as good as any v band clamp I have used. The stainless flanges are thick and well very easily with minimal contamination. The band is also nice and thick and clamps very well. Overall, these are great clamps and I have zero reservations about using them vs some of the higher cost options.

Woo buy agian 100%. The clamps are tight and I have zero exhaust leaks! All the parts were in the box and the shop installed it with ease.

One of this things that takes some preparation but absolutely works. Get the correct size and cut STRAIGHT, tack welding 4 corners will hold and it won’t leak.. but i welded all the way around. Did it with fluxcore and it worked great. Try to prevent spatter from getting on the inside sealing surface. Wd40 worked for me. Antispatter spray would work better. Anyway, dont let the stainless get too hot or itll warp your sealing surface. Im thrilled with the way it turned out. I have a stainless header and y pipe setup so ill be measuring and v-banding the other slip fit sections as well.

The quality of the flanges and clamp is really good, I've got them on a few race cars. But buy 4 at a time or it's not worth it. And CHECK YOUR QUANTITY. Evil makes decent stuff but they have a habit of misleading pictures, so if you're in a hurry and order what looks to be like a set of flanges and clamps like the rest of Amazon, it could be just one at 275% mark-up. When you see $40+ for a Chinese v band, you don't think to check that it's only 1. For $15 more, I ordered the 4 pack and will be returning the single. Can't let them get away with shady tactics like that
