eSUN eBOX Lite Upgraded Dryer Box of 3D Printer Filament,Spool Holder

I've been using the Dryer Box for my 3D printer filament for a few months now, and I have to say, it's made a noticeable difference in my printing experience. Before I got this, I often struggled with filament that was too moist and it caused all sorts of print issues. Since I started using the Dryer Box, I've had much more consistent prints, and the quality has improved significantly. Setting it up was pretty straightforward. I love that it holds multiple spools, so I can keep my filaments organized and dry at the same time. The design is compact and fits nicely on my workspace without taking up too much room. One thing I really appreciate is how effective it is; I can tell my filaments are staying dry, even after being stored for a while. I haven't noticed any bubbling or oozing during prints, which was a common problem before. Overall, I’d recommend the Dryer Box to anyone who prints regularly. It’s a solid investment for keeping your filaments in top shape and ensuring better print quality.

I got this as I'm terrible for leaving my filament out. It heats up well, and does let the spool spin, but, if the filament is caught up on the reel in any way, it will jam and it's a pain when it does, so only get this if your using a good quality filament which is guaranteed to be tangle free. It's easy to use, it's quiet and it was a great buy.

I bought this dryer box because I had a spool of eSUN PLA filament which had sucked up too much moisture, leading to stringy prints with poor layer adhesion. I chose this particular dryer box simply because it was so cheap and as I'd never used one before, I didn't want to spend a lot of money in case it wasn't very effective. I know, "you get what you pay for" and buying cheap is often a mistake, but I just wanted to see whether the concept worked at all first. I needn't have worried however - this dryer box works perfectly, and after dropping my PLA in over night (it takes around 8 hours), the spool was returned to perfect working order; result! It will also work with other types of filament, but I have only tried it with PLA so far. Other types of filament have higher temperature requirements for drying, but as this box has presets for those I'm sure it'll do just as good a job if/when I need to use it with them. I've only dropped one star because the build quality isn't fantastic - the lid feels quite fragile and I don't think the box would survive a drop. This I'm sure is where the cost savings are being made and for such a low price, they certainly aren't issues that would stop me from recommending this device to anyone who needs one.

Why did you choose this product over others?: Great price for a small and practical filament dryer. Nothing special but does exactly what it needs to do without taking up loads of space.

Well packed, and does what it's meant to. It's easy to use, quick to set up. The build quality seems to be good for the money. It drys filament and you can print straight from the box, what more do you need.

I have this on feeding my printer all the time. It seems to have stopped issued I've had with poor plate adhesion and misprints possibly caused by damp filament. Tried several different filament makes and spool sizes without issue. Simple function as in turn it on and choose one of three options depending on thread being used. Warms up quick. Quiet running. I wasn't really expecting anything great for the price so have been pleasantly surprised. I've printed out a number of spool holders for my flashforge and could have saved myself a lot of filament simply by investing in this. Added bonus is it's very cheap to run.

This is my 2nd eSun eBOX Lite - Original was purchased a good few years ago now, this model has a longer exit / feed tube which is good but it is much harder plastic so has a tendency to pull the filament away from its intended path a little - I've warmed mine up to straighten the tube a little which has help. Personally I've not used them as a dryer as I have an alternative method but I really like the units as a feeder for my printer.

The product is simple in nature and achieves what it is meant to, to a degree. It has an on/off button, a heat adjustment button (3 settings) and an up/down button to cycle through the heating modes. It produces a fair amount of heat, but this head does not heat the entire unit proportionally - this in itself is a design issue and undoubtedly has an impact on the functionality of the device. My main gripe is with the filament run out. The provided tool doesn't allow for smooth filament flow, and due to the tension whilst running filament out of the heater, the lid pops open, releasing the heat. This is a major design flaw, which I have not managed to find a way to reduce it from happening. The one gripe aside, the product is good at drying filament. I have not encountered any brittle filament as a result of using this dryer. However, its hard to say that any moisture within the filament I have has been released as a result of this dryer.
