We have an area rug under our big dining table in the dining room. It had become the favorite place for our little dogs to go to the bathroom. We tried everything and were ready to rip the rug out of the dining room when my wife discovered SEERWAY Scat Pet Shock Mat Shock Pads. We figured we had nothing to lose so we bought a pair and put them down in the dining room. I'm happy to report that our dogs STILL can be taught! After a few trips into the room and stepping on the pads, they have not been back. Ever. AAA+++

My two fox terriers used to piss on my sofa. I placed these on and they are scared to even go near the couch. When i take them off and home they still wont go near it. I only place when i leave the house. These wouldnt work well on the floor as most dogs would jusr jump over. But to place on a surface like a chair, sofa, table I highly reccomend.

These do not work. They turn on, the light blinks green, but they don’t make any warning tone and most definitely do not let out even the slightest shock. Now I have gone over all the reviews. I have read that some only found success with rechargeable batteries. So I took the brand new batteries I had bought, tried a different store brand, then went on Amazon and purchased the Amazon brand rechargeable batteries. Didn’t help. I went over the manual again and again. Then I reached out to customer service. They told me that if I reached out to the seller they would issue me two replacement mats. So I reached out. I got some automated message giving me more troubleshooting instructions. Went back and tried again. Nothing but a green blinking light. I replied saying I tried that and it didn’t work. I then get sent another message very similar to the first. I don’t understand, I have tried everything over and over. I wish they would just be upfront with me if they won’t issue me a replacement because in that case I will just return them. However my return window is soon closing and I feel like they may be playing games with me at this point. I really needed these mats to keep my cats from peeing in this one spot. It’s just a matter of time before they pee on top of the faulty mats. I was praying these would work. And that I could also maybe buy more for other parts of my home like my dining room table. Unfortunately , unless there is a miracle in which they decide to send me replacements that truly work, I won’t ever be buying from this company again. I would be happy to update my review if the seller provides better customer service than I’ve gotten so far.

Seems to work so far. My kitties are avoiding it. The size was bigger than expected. Just wish it came with a rechargeable battery.

Does the trick to keep my dog from chewing furniture when im gone but I wish they came in a blanket size so I didnt have to use so many. Also the batteries are hard to get in and out. Not much space to get your fingers in there.

We were so excited to try this for our cat who insists on peeing in the bathroom on the floor. We bought 2, laid them out that he couldn't jump over and tested it (we felt the little poke-good enough). He walked right over it constantly. Turns out the only time it worked was when we tested it on ourselves. It hasn't worked since and that beep only doesn't deter anything. Waste of our money Update: tried these again as too late to return. 1 mat says it's live but cat walked back and forth on it no shock. The 2nd mat keeps saying low battery even after replacing with new. Seeing all these new reviews, we must have just gotten a bum batch.

Works great! Taught my cats to stay off my dining table. Plus they see the flashing green light so they know it's active.

I have two very sneaky cats. I like them, but they're cats. And they don't respect restrictions being placed on them in their house. Fortunately, some of the higher functioning members of the human race designed a product that has allowed me to take back some semblance of control over the home I so generously make the mortgage payments for on their behalf. That feeling of gratification I felt from hearing a beep followed immediately by the sound of a furball landing on the other side of the kitchen may seem a touch sadistic, but it's keeping the peace (I talked another human into touching the mat. The reaction indicated it delivers a noticeable jolt). All I ask for is no felines on the table or counters. That's fifteen square feet of real estate within their estate. And thanks to these mats, I have that now. Cheers!

This worked fine for the first week but then worked sporadically, stopped working all together or the settings didn't work properly (i.e. I was getting shocked on the tone setting), it's cheaper than other brands but I guess you get what you pay for. I would not recommend - when it works its good but otherwise it's a waste of money.

The coils are spaced further apart than others on the market so smart cats can simply step between coils and reach their destination undeterred. Would work great for dogs with larger paws. Returned because it was useless with my cats. Quality was not as good as the Scat Cat mat, but great deal with two of these for the price of one of the higher quality mats.
