Dorcy 41-1482 Deluxe Signal Wand LED Flashlight with Safety Cone, 30-Lumens, Black Finish

A flashlight with a red cone was need for our parking lot attendants to use at night. A regular flashlight without a cone was tried before but improper use blinded some drivers. The cone snaps into place and 2 D cells make it bright enough. Having searched elsewhere, flashlights with cones were not easy to find. This one suits our purposes and is fairly inexpensive and all arrived in good condition.

These work well for occasional use. They are not heavy duty flashlights and won't take a lot of abuse (had a couple of the plastic housings crack when dropped), but considering we use 24 of them at any one time you expect a few failures, and for the price paid they work fine. Red wand glows brightly at night, fits snugly enough on the flashlight and is removable so you can use the light as a light. We only use them twice a year for parking cars at big events and they work well. Would purchase again. I gave 4 stars simply because of the lack of durability.

Very pleased, especially because of the pricing on this product ... I ordered two and both work fine. My order was shipped right away so I can recommend without any reservations based on my experience. Works great for an early morning walk ... cars see it right away. Highly Recommend!

I light this wand flashlight, but it's not perfect. The flashlight part of this product seems pretty cheaply made. It feels like light, breakable plastic that you wouldn't want to drop. Furthermore, the orange cone just gets pressed onto the top of the flashlight, it seems pretty secure, but it really should screw on. I guess I really cant complain considering how cheap this product was. I will say this it is extremely visible at night and does do what it was designed to do.

Great price for what we needed. I run a school program that had 1500 participants being dropped off and picked up for our event. Handing these wand flashlights to my parents worked out perfectly. The flashlights are fairly sturdy, despite being plastic. The want is visible even at dusk. I would recommend these to anyone who does not want to break the bank for a quality product.

It good for all

We use this when walking on sidewalks at the beach around dusk to keep bikes from hitting us. They fly by 20mph and usually with no lights. Without this light it's so dangerous.

The cone lights up well, but the top of the cone has quarter size hole where some of the flashlight luminance shines through. I don’t think this is a problem and may in fact be a featured aspect of this particular wand.

Produces a bright white light, and the safety cone fits & works well. Very good value for money considering the prices of other alternatives available. The yellow line and switch on the torch do make it seem a bit 'cheap and plasticy', but do not be fooled - it is a great bit of kit. The tip of the cone is also open to allow a narrow beam of light to pass through when the cone is fitted, which funnily produces a target-like beam when it reaches a surface (although this in fact aids it when being used to direct traffic). The wide end of the cone is 6cm in diameter if you are looking to purchase additional cones to fit. Perfect for use when directing traffic or as a safety torch in a theatre. Arrived in roughly three weeks which is very acceptable considering the cost and distance. If you are looking for something like this but do not want to spend too much, I would definitely recommend it.
