We had an old glass lined thermal carafe that fell apart because of age. Searching for a replacement we decided to get this stainless steel Heritage66 thermal carafe. After using it for a month to make and dispense our hot morning tea, we really like it. There are days when we keep hot tea in it for over 6 hours. Of course the tea isn't steaming hot, but it's still plenty warm & doesn't need reheating in our microwave. The dispensing lid works very well. Cleaning it isn't difficult with the included brush and it always looks clean.

This thing works amazingly well. I can boil water in the morning, still have hot water at night and it is still warm the following morning. The capacity is prefect (I use one of these for smaller meetings and gatherings of about 12 people (could probably serve a few more people - depends on if the crowd are heavy tea drinkers). No leaking issues. Well built and sturdy.

I have yet to find a thermos or carafe that can keep coffee hot for any extended amount of time, which is true of this one. When it's full, the coffee stays hot. Once you start pouring coffee out, the rest doesn't stay hot for more than an hour and you'll need to zap it in the microwave. The design is good, easy to pour, easy to clean.

Purchased this over 2 years ago - still working well- keeps our coffee hot all day - and we use it every single day and it looks nice as well.

Holds our full 12-cup (6 mugs approx) coffee maker,. Pours well. Heat retention could be better, by the time you get near the bottom, coffee is warm.

The carafe works pretty well. It’s easy to use except for how I use it which is to brew tea in like a tea pot. It’s hard to get the tea bags back out with the narrow neck at the top without ripping them apart. [Second review] After a year of use the pot still keeps my tea hot for a few hours. After 3-4 hours I have to give it a microwave boost for 30 seconds. After 6 hours, one minute in the microwave. It hisses constantly as it cools. If I forget to empty and clean in the evening it’s still making noise in the morning, all-be-it softer. I have to keep a paper towel under it as it dribbles every-time I pour a cup at least a few drops, it runs down the side of the pot. Not a bad pot but I was looking for a replacement today when I came across my old review and updated it… This does not keep things hot for the day. An hour or so then warm. By the end of the day, Tepid temperature is it best!

Originally I had given this carafe a 3 star review due to a pouring problem. There was never an issue with the carafe keeping our tea hot. The company reached out to me & asked what they could do to rectify the problem. (How many companies care enough to do that???). I explained the situation & they guessed that the lid had a problem with the pressure & they immediately sent me a new lid. (How many companies do that?) We used the new lid & the pouring problem disappeared. Problem solved. I can't possible explain how appreciative we are, not because this was a major issue in our lives, but because it's just good to know that a company cared enough to correct a problem. We highly recommend.

From beginning there was a bad plastic smel. Within 10 days rusted inside, Lost the insulation and start to shine the heat from external wall.

The delivered vacuum-sealed Thermos Flask is not working as it was intended. hot water, coffee, and karak tea all get cold fast.
