3M Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200, White, 1 oz Tube

Purchased this product to attempt to seal a challenging flashing issue which has three different material in an awkward transition.I removed all the material from the previous two attempts to waterproof the area, leaving a larger than previous opening to work this material into.After cleaning and prepping the surfaces, I began to applying this 3M product. It is thick, but not problematic to dispense - possibly other reviewers were dispensing through a smaller orifice than me - I used the full tube opening without a tip. The product is exceptionally easy to manipulate and smooth out - almost putty like. Unlike other products like silicone and polyurethane, it didn't stick much to my applicator and thus stayed were I wanted it (without sag) and also smoothed out easily.Bottom line is it adhered to all three materials, filled the voids perfectly, looks great, and the leak is no more!I highly, highly recommend this product - it's amazing!

TAKES 7 DAYS TO CURENeeded to reseal my 12v 100ah lifepo4 battery. My battery design is pretty dumb and they put the handle on the top lid which was only sealed with the bare minimum of a few dabs of some type of similar adhesive on the side that came undone. The only downside to ordering it online was that the nozzle was cracked at the bottom and broken off of the retainer ring but the nozzle was still usable.Ive used the 3m 5200 adhesive sealant before so I already knew what to expect. If you can use caulk gun you can use this..but make sure you dont get it on you or its really hard to get off. Gas will work but it sucks lol.i do wish I had gotten the3m 5200FC that cures in 24 hours instead though.

This is the perfect waterproof adhesive for built up marine plywood laminated boat building. I used it on a curved balcony wall and it was stronger than a post and rail assembly. There is a learning curve as it will be stiff in cold weather and a tad soft above 75°. Very strong bond.

Great product. Used it to seal the seams on our camping trailer. Dried fairly quickly, and kept a pliable seam (did not harden or crack) and it held up during the rainy season. 1 tube was plenty enough for a 35' trailer.

Great product. Have used before, is completely waterproof and lasts for years.But this time arrived without applicator tip. Asked Rufus about it: "Yes, the 3M Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200 comes with an applicator tip. However, customers report occasional inconsistencies — some have received tubes without tips. If yours arrives without one, applicator tips are widely available at hardware stores or can be purchased separately.The product requires a standard caulking gun for application."Come on ... either I have to buy one at extra cost, return the product and wait a few days for replacement, or use without. Not the best options.

Make sure to wear gloves and have solvent cleaner to wipe off squeeze out off right away! This 3m 5200 is no joke! It is amazing

Expensive, does what it says. I had a leak in a glass roof and used this. It took a couple of days to dry but the leak has completely stopped.

Incredible product for boats or anything that requires permanent repair or attachment. have used it on my boat and exposed to sun and weather for years, no deterioration.

Delivered on time, well packaged. Used on the boat transom to fill in transducer screw holes. It's easy to use. It does take a week to fully cure but works perfectly. I recommend for anyone working on a boat. Use a caulk tube plug to seal and save unused product.
