Do you shower with body wash before or after using this?

works best when you’re in the shower, or the bath and your skin is very VERY wet, but if you have sensitive skin, I suggest putting some soap on the glove, then gently with little pressure slide the glove over your skin. Do this a few times, and you’ll see dead skin start to accumulate, both on the glove and on your skin. I use this glove with a glycolic/salicylic acid combo body wash whenever I take a bath, and my skin is silky smooth afterwards! Although the tub is full of dead skin! 😊

I've used this twice and it has a very strong scent? why is that? it's awful and i'm wondering if i just received a defective one. please advise.

I can’t recall if mine had a scent or not but I think I would remember one that disturbing. I would contact the seller to see if you can get a replacement

Can this be used on toddlers?

I'll suggest only using once a week since their skin is going to be a little irritated from the scrubbing

Does it lighten a black neck?

If the back of your neck is black you may check to see if you have a skin condition associated with insulinemia called Acanthosis nigricans. My brother had it.
