Franklin Adult MLB Digitek Batting Gloves

I bought these Franklin Sports MLB Digitek batting gloves for my kid, not for baseball, but for playing cricket with a soft leather or tennis ball. His regular leather ball gloves have extra cushion that isn’t needed in this case, so we were looking for something lightweight, flexible, and stylish that still offered a solid grip. These turned out to be exactly what he needed. Out of the package, the gloves look sharp with the camo patch design—sporty without being over the top. The materials feel high‑quality, and the genuine leather heel patch adds a touch of durability without making the glove bulky. My kid immediately liked how they fit snugly thanks to the Tri‑Curve design, which contours naturally to the hand. Performance‑wise, the grip is excellent. The microfiber palm holds the bat firmly whether he’s using a cricket bat or a baseball bat, and the tear‑resistant material has already held up well through multiple practice sessions. He says they’re breathable and comfortable even when playing for a long stretch, and they don’t feel hot or heavy like his padded gloves. From my perspective, the stitching and overall build quality are impressive for youth gloves in this price range. They look good, feel sturdy, and should last through plenty of games. The camo detail gives them just enough personality to stand out while still looking professional. For kids who want a reliable, good‑looking glove for batting—whether in baseball, softball, or even cricket—these are a definite win. They’ve quickly become his go‑to gloves, and I can see why.

Palm material fell apart after first use. I would t recommend.

Excellent quality, thick but still easy to manage - they run a little big so you might consider getting 1 size smaller than normal.

These gloves aren't the best quality. I know they're cheaper than Franklin's other batting gloves but i did expect them to last a little longer than they have. The palm of these started to rub away after only a couple of games and didn't last a season of rec ball.
