Delighted with the Quad Pro stand.I design and engineer kitchens in CAD.My goals were:1. Perfect posture.2. Not having a barrier (such as the laptop) between myself and the clients. I use my laptop screen, perfectly height adjusted on the Quad Pro. Client views the large screen. We both face the same direction, I can easily swivel to face the client.3. Mobility inside the office. (Desk and chair on wheels. This way I can instantly move out from behind the large desk and create a second work station on demand.)4. Portability. All the items on my desk (Laptop, Quad Pro stand, wirelss keyboard with built-in trackball mouse, and professional CAD mouse, fit into the small case on wheels, visible in the bottom left corner of the photo. In 2 minutes, I'm out the door with my perfect posture apparatus. Upon arrival at ANY standard table and chair, another 2 minutes and I'm back at work, ankles, knees, hips, shoulders and elbows ALWAYS perpendicular and at right angles. I look straight ahead at my laptop no matter the table height.Thanks!

I purchased this laptop stand to accommodate another recent purchase of a dual monitor mount that allows me to sit or stand and mounts to the back of my desk. This way I can raise my laptop to eye level when standing.Initially I tried another model (something "devil") and had to return that one because when I placed my 17" laptop on it, the stand became super wobbly regardless of how much I tightened the screw underneath. This was the only design flaw, but I couldn't risk having the stand tip over with my laptop on it, so I returned it and purchased the model from Quarx and so far I'm loving this one. It doesn't swivel, but that's the one feature that wasn't a necessity for me.I would recommend this stand! It's super sturdy, holds my laptop perfectly, has two holders on the base for phones, tablets, etc. And raises to a perfect height when I'm standing. Now I can attend virtual meetings standing up!

The stand is excellent overall. It's the only stand I've found that not only lifts the laptop up but can also bring the screen closer to your eyes using the extendable arms and it does so while feeling fairly sturdy. The only thing is I would caution agains purchasing this if you're imagining yourself lugging it in your bag on a regular basis. It is rather bulky, heavy, and overall cumbersome for a product that's advertised as being portable. It also rests its weight on a rather thin area when stored vertically so I might even worry about it stretching out my bag if I were to pack this on a regular basis.Overall, this stand can't be matched for its combination of sturdiness, ergonomics, and customization. For that, it is an excellent value and worthy of 5 stars. I would still caution potential buyers that this product only barely meets most people's definition of "portable". A roost or nextstand this is not, and those are the products I would steer you towards if portability is the most important factor.

Love this product. It is hard to unfold and maneuver but that also means when you put it into position and put a heavy 15in MacBook Pro in it, there is no sagging or movement. It does not budge over time, or even when I jump on the mini trampoline every morning …which rattles everything in the room. The only downside is that the cell phone/ tablet holders are not that useful. If I had to do over I would order the model without that feature, which was cheaper. If there is enough room for your tablet in the lower brackets, based on how high you raise the stand, the tablet stands straight up and there is not room in the holder to angle it back a little. I wanted to put my laptop on top to use photoshop while the tablet was underneath in the holder playing the photoshop video lesson… did not work well. Works great for raising my laptop screen to eye level while I use the external keyboard on the flat desk surface.

I use it to hold my newly purchased 17" laptop. I adjusted the height to a level where the middle of the laptop screen aligns with the middle of the 27" external monitor to the left, for an ideal view of both screens. At such raised position, usable space is created under the laptop. Further, I extended the support arm all the way out to the front so that I can push the stand all the way back against the wall, so as to create even more space on the front of the desk. I was also able to put my cell on the holder in this raised position. It is perfect for adjusting the laptop and camera positions for video conferencing.It is a little stiff to bend the hinges but I suppose it was designed this way, which makes it solid as a rock.

This laptop stand (seen to the left of the center monitor) is very sturdy. I have had one for a year or more and just purchased two more for an alternate office where I place a thin travel monitor on the stand and my laptop uses the other. Worth the money.BUT - don't expect to use the little phone and tablet stands if you need them connected to a charging cable. You will have to lay them sideways in the stands. No holes for the wire to come up from the bottom. And there would be no clearance anyway for the cord. But as you can see, I have another stand on the right for my phone.

My laptop and I were having rough times. She was giving me headaches and never listened to me. So I decided to give this product a shot to get my relationship back with my laptop. Boy I was right...Our relationship improved drastically. She seems more happy now. Comfortable, sitting on a throne well thought for the queen she is. This product belongs in the royalty. Great built, sturdy, so me and my girl can dance how we like. We've never been so happy in our time together. And I see us in for the long run. Thank you great artisans from the Quarx realm. With a throne like this. I'm never looking back. Also my back is happy with all the ergonomic treatment this stand is providing.I recommend this beautiful stand to all the fellows out there struggling with their lady. No more pain, only joy.
