Easy, straight forward, and the assembly was easy as toy. No tools required! My lamp burned out so I had to get another. I chose this floor lamp as it was fast, easy, and price economical. It was simply ghostly without a lamp except for the lights from the nearby kitchen, so I had to get a replacement as quick as possible. I ordered the lamp online on Amazon as it was economical to buy on short notice in comparison to other lamps. I chose a few others to compare and I remembered I done this before. But this time was a different experience where in the meantime I bought this less pricey version and wait for another time for a more refined, pricier choice. The prior lamp had an immense body as it was way too big and too outdated for a purchase as it wasn't available to even consider. It was made in the early '90s and to have another was way too conservative, too stayed in the times where I chose to move on to current versions the market currently has to offer. They are well efficient, up to date, sized down in body and style that wow! I couldn't believe the lamps they had. One small table lamp can light up the room. I finally bought this one as it is straight forward on how efficient it seemed to work. A major feature it has is the dimmer. It is a rotating dimmer style knob which is intuitive to use and inviting to have. It requires a light bulb for dimming which came with the package and it glows in a warm LED light, equivalent to a 60 watt hour bulb versus a 100 watt bulb where its resonance or warmth is equivalent to full daylight. It's too bright. I do have in mind to buy a small table lamp near where I sit, across from the lamp just purchased. I think they had two other color choices. I didn't really make any choice, except that black seems to go with anything. The assembly was a snap very easy and very seamless faster than putting together a new toy as we may remember in an earlier period in life with no tools required. But it does come with a "mock" wrench that I had no use for. The lamp was up and running in no time with hideous left over packaging to throw out the moment after I turned on the light just short of its full turn on the nob. I felt almost an instant relief as I remembered before I purchased this same lamp a few years back and I didn't really like it, sticking to my old fashioned likes of a bigger, fatter lamp. They don't make those anymore! I'm glad I changed, making this buyer satisfied with an almost, a smile. I highly recommend this lamp. I mean, I can get another fancier lamp next time. But not too soon! The dimmer feature may be relieved knowing it is to be nearly a full turn on the knob, just short of a full turn to clear any ideas of the meaning of the flicking from the bulb. I think that's really important for me to remember, always. I can't use a light bulb that cannot dim!

This lamp is so beautiful and was incredibly easy to put together! I had a very minor issue with my order and it was promptly answered by the company and they were very kind and helpful! I got a fantastic deal on it as well, this lamp really pulls my living room together. I love the dimmable switch because it's perfect for reading my books under. I'm very happy with my purchase! If you're looking for a good quality standing lamp that doesn't break the bank then this is the one for you!

In general, this lamp is exactly what you might be hoping for ... for tens of dollars instead of hundreds. It's well-packaged, easy-to-assemble and seems solidly built. The dimmer switch works nicely and it's designed for a standard (E26) dimmable LED bulb, so you can swap in whatever you'd like. So why not 5 stars? Well, I specifically bought this because it was advertised as coming with a 2700K (very warm/yellow) LED bulb, but it actually came with a 3000K bulb. It doesn't sound like a huge difference, but I really was hoping for something warmer... The second issue is the lampshade, which looks like a linen material, but is actually some sort of cheap plastic. It looks fine, but feels less nice than I'd hoped.

I was looking for a basic shade to replace the one I had just screwed up on my old lamp and was shocked at the cost! Then I ran across this lamp and it looked just as nice as my old lamp only the shade was nicer looking (not torn is always prettier) and taller, and newer… and cost less. For a whole new lamp that actually looks better than my old lamp. Better style for my decor. And it’s dimmable! What??? It was on sale so I ordered it. I’m a senior and not handy. My late husband always put things together for me. But now I have to do these things on my own and I was nervous. It was very easy and good thing because the instructions were terrible. Just awful. Not worth the paper they are printed on. I just looked at it and figured it out and I’m pleased with myself. I’m most especially impressed with the fully adjustable dimmer on this lamp. The lamp itself is heavy and stable. I think even my 15 lb cats will have a hard time knocking it over during zoomies. That’s a good thing. Not sure about toddlers. It is very tall so measure the spot you want to place it to be sure it’s the right height because that’s not adjustable. Loving the black mat finish. Simple lines goes perfectly with my living area. And surprisingly you can tilt the shade. How about that! All put together by little old me 😄

As a senior I needed additional light to see while reading or doing closeup work like sewing or crocheting. I was having to lean toward my table lamp to see while in my recliner. This lamp solved that issue by shining directly down on my work. It doesn't heat up the room like an incandescent bulb does and it comes with an LED bulb! And by buying two...one for me and one for my husband, I got a discounted price. It is dimmable so you can enjoy a soft light or adjust all the way up to full brightness to read or work. Heavy based stand is sturdy and stable and easy to put together for a 74 year old woman. We love them and recommend highly.

I want so badly to give these a five star review but I had to take one star off because of the placement of the switch. First off all, these floor lamps fit the decor seamlessly. I feel they are versatile enough to fit many kinds of decor. I purchased two lamps to place in my living room. One is by my recliner and the other by my couch. They fit the small space well, blend in nicely and this way I don’t have lamps on my coffee tables taking up space. The dimmer switches work well, and I love the capability to dim the lighting to a desired effect. But the switches- the switches on the lamps are so high up! Biggest complaint I’ve had with these (and a I’ve had them about 4 months) is how high the switches are. Because usually, when you want to dim or turn these off, you’re sitting down, not standing up. These are actually pretty sturdy if you’re wondering, too! They don’t easily tip although maybe a couple of times we’ve had them tip trying to reach those switches! Overall- I would recommend these. Great value for the kind of lamp you get. They fit into many types of decor and are a nice, solid lamp for the living space.

A la hora de armarla nunca coincidió la parte del cable que debe quedar atrás simple quedó a un lado, además la luz parpadea. Lástima que ya cuando la vine a armar había cerrado el período de devolución sino la hubiera devuelto.
