Simple tool, cheap and it works. I recommend having a few since it is groupset proprietary.
Simple tool, makes it easy to plug in your "fragile" DI2 electric wires.Tool works well, but the design just feels a bit weird how you place the cable in the top end and push it in but it doesn't super securely hold the DI2 cable. But it works.I suggest carrying one in your saddle bag, it makes any potential repairs on the side of the road a little easier, and helps protect the fragile cables.

Unfortunately I bought the wrong (the old) E-tube connector tool and I only realized it after I opened the packaging. I would have needed the newer EW-300 series tool. Anyway, the price was super low

This makes it easy to set up a Di2 system
Before running Di2 E-tubes through the frame you really should connect everything in order to test that all the parts/wires work as expected. With this tool you can make sure Di2 E-tubes are fully inserted and connected properly. Just as importantly, after you test your setup you have to disconnect everything in order to install the internal wiring and this tool is the easy way to disconnect E-tubes without damaging them. One of these may come with your Di2 group but for what it costs it sure doesn't hurt to have a backup around.

Good Tool that Works!
I ordered this only to find out a few days later that my bike came with one! I just had to look into the box. Anyways, it works as it should, and it's not a bad idea to have a spare to tag along on longer rides in case something happens on the road.

They come supplied with your brake levers . I like to keep one at work and one at home . I use my bike for commuting so this solution makes sens . If your bike deserves Di2, you deserve the right tools . Peace of mind that you are not breaking your connectors or your components .
