The Installation (Watch for the Orientation!): The kit includes a small blue plastic prying tool that makes the process much safer than using a kitchen knife. - The "Click": Removing the old ones is straightforward with the tool. When installing the new ones, they are designed to "click" into the factory clips. - My Pro-Tip: On one side, I initially struggled to get the clips to engage. I realized I needed to flip the pad (top-to-bottom). Once I rotated it, it clicked into place perfectly in seconds. If it feels like it’s not seating right, don’t force it—just try flipping the orientation. The Result: The instructions are very easy to follow, and the "added thickness" of these pads is a welcome upgrade over the flattened originals. They feel plush and create a solid seal again. Why I recommend these: - Restores ANC: Because the seal is tight again, the noise cancellation feels like it did on day one. - Budget-Friendly: For a small investment, I saved a pair of premium headphones I’ve owned for 6+ years. - Complete Kit: You don’t need any extra tools; everything you need is in the box. Bottom Line: If you love your XM2s as much as I do, don't retire them just because the leather is peeling. These pads made my 2018 headphones feel brand new again. After many many years of constant use, the foam in my OEM ear pads had gone so flat that my ear was starting to touch the inside of the cup (which is not just uncomfortable, but can hurt the driver!) These replacements are overall very nice. They are very comforatable, and come with the tools and instructions that made installing the replacements a painless <5 minute process. The only thing to note is that they don't seal out sound as well as the OEM pads did. I have to play my music or background noise track at a higher volume to drown out things compared to my OEM pads.

Really easy to install, comes with a plastic tool to remove the old ear cups. I had the best success starting at the top of each ear, and once you lever up one of the tabs, the rest of them just pull out by hand. Then the new cups just snap in easily. Pads are comfortable and they look just like the originals.

it gives my headphones a fresh breath. it has really good quality and it preserves my old headphones alive. I bought this item 3 years ago and it lasted for all this time. it only started breaking now so I bought a new one.

I purchased this pair of pads based on customer reviews and Amazon recommendations, but I am disappointed with my purchase. First of all I must say that I was certain that I would not receive exactly the same pads as the original ones, but what I got is quite far from that expectation. 1. Cushion. It is not, much less comfortable. Let's say I expected 75% less compared to the original but in the end I got 25% compared to the original. 2. Since comfort is linked to thickness and is already an issue, of course this will affect the ANC function of the headphones. I can hear sounds from outside almost like the old ones that I already needed to replace. 3. Easy to install and fit well. However, one of the pads started moving as if it didn't quite fit as it was supposed to. I have removed it and replaced it but something is not right and the attachment points are not damaged or broken either. In the end, I will have to put up with these that I have bought due to the lack of options that are reliable and worth spending money on.

Product as described. Installation was simple and quick. Headphones look new again.

Meine Sony WH-1000XM2 sind nach sieben Jahren zwar noch technisch einwandfrei – auch der Akku hält noch hervorragend –, aber leider waren die Polster mittlerweile komplett „abgeschubbert“. Ich bin froh, diese tollen Ersatzpolster gefunden zu haben. Der Austausch war absolut problemlos und die Polster sitzen fest und sicher. Ich bin total begeistert, wie gut sich die Kopfhörer jetzt wieder anfühlen. Dank dieser Ersatzpolster werden meine Sony-Kopfhörer sicher noch einige Jahre im Einsatz bleiben. Eine absolute Empfehlung, um ein eigentlich noch top funktionierendes Gerät zu retten!

XM2のイヤーパッド悪くなってきたので交換。 互換性はありますが正直質感は当たり前ですがオリジナルの方が良い。

These ear pads are exactly as described. They fit my phones perfectly because of this. Comfortable, soft and effective. I will need a few months to be able to make a call on quality/longevity.

My old ear cups were looking very tatty so I bought these to replace them. Very easy to fit and they've given my headphones a new lease of life. Feel slightly less comfortable than the old ones, but I can't complain for the price. I don't believe these have impacted the noise cancellation at all.
