Once a classic, always a classic! THE perfect active-sports longies.
I am 72, 6'3", and weigh 200 lbs. The XLs fit perfectly. I have a pair of Terramar polypro long johns that have to be 25 years old. I love that they fit so comfortably - just snug but not tight - and are a perfect weight for vigorous to strenuous activities outside. They have seen me through xc ski marathon races, long rollerski sessions, bike rides on bitter days, and a host of other outdoor activities.I bought two pair of these new ones hoping they would be more or less the same. My prayers were answered; they are essentially identical. To me, they are perfect. All the more so because for some reason they were much cheaper than the 20-year-old pair. Truly, what is not to like?I have suffered through multiple pairs of today's sausage casing pantyhose-type longies, and man, what a difference! The Terramars just disappear. I can't even feel that they're on. I'm inclined to buy a dozen pair and squirrel them away to replace those that wear out - except so far I've found that they never wear out!

Comfortable and lightweight
Terramar Men's Polypropylene Lightweight Mesh Knit Pants. XXXL. I'm a big guy (about 50" waist & 6' tall). It's hard to find base layers that fit. These fit great and are very comfortable. Not too thick. They fit under hiking pants just fine.

Fit and warm
The quality seems good, they fit the way I envisioned, and they do provide warmth as intended. My only complaint is that although they’re sold as “lightweight” I would easily say they’re on the thicker side of the many pairs of long underwear I have owned over the years. These are at least mid-weight. I bought them to fit under jeans for everyday wear during the winter during my normal routine. They’re too thick for that. They make the jeans a bit too tight. I wore them skiing instead and they are good under my ski gear. So I would have given 5 stars except they are jus too thick of fabric for my intended use. Not a bad product overall if the description was more accurate.

Comfortable, not too hot or bulky
These are great for cold winter days in urban Minnesota (not just outdoors, but also in the living room of our 1909 house). They're thin enough to fit under ordinary trousers. This is the second time I've bought Terramar long undies, and the one ones are still in perfect shape after four or five winters.

Meh
These are comfortable. Well made. I'm just unimpressed with their primary purpose - warmth. Yes, they are a very light base layer. Having ordered a couple different brands I compared these with the others, and these had the least insulating quality of them all. They work well as a winter sleeping pant, so I'll keep them. They just won't be added to my outdoor cold weather gear arsenal.

They fit like the XXL from a decade ago!
I bought my first pair when I lived in Havre,Mt. Back them they never made anything larger, the XXL where their largest bottoms. I had to replace them ( over 10 years ago) I ordered 3xl, and they fit so much better, same waist size, but not so restrictive in the crotch and legs! The only brand I ever buy, and I Love them for their long lasting!!

Awesome.
These are so warm and so light at once its truly amazing. I frame houses and I get caught out in 10 degree weather with nothing on my legs but these and a pair of blue jeans and I feel great. I don't recommend them if you're standing or sitting but if you're active you can't go wrong with them.

These are great lightweight and silky and just enough to help keep me wind proof and warm but not hot when transitioning to indoors. I wear these with jeans down to 30* or so and would get the heavier weights in colder temps.
