Succeeded where a traditional gasket failed.
I bought an aftermarket differential cover for my Silverado, and after trying two different OEM gaskets, it would still leak. I ended up buying this product to get a good seal, and it worked exactly as it should. No leaks, no slow dripping, just a total seal when the gasket couldn't get the job done. I also didn't need to wait the full 24 hours for the RTV to fully cure. I followed the instructions as listed, but I gave it 5 hours to cure. I think the 95 degree Texas heat probably helped speed up the curing process. Regardless, this is a great product and it does what it's supposed to do.
