I am looking for a board for my English bulldog. He is 70 lbs and wide. Would this be a good fit for him?

This is a pretty sturdy board, but it's very easy to turn and weave. You may want something more stable that is better at staying straight. For the price though, it's a good deal

No, it would not be a good board for a 9 year old. It is extremely long! Find something shorter until he's about 6' tall then it'll be great!

how flexy is this board?

Pretty flexy. The board actually has notches carved in where the wheels would rub on the board so it doesn't rub and ruin the bamboo. This is a wonderfully made board. Amazing quality with just the right amount of flex
