Bike Pants for Men Gel

I ordered these cycling pants because of it's overall 4-1/2 star rating. The pants fit very well, appear to be comfortable and of good quality, but unfortunately I decided to return them. My issue is that the padding isn't sufficient and therefore they are not comfortable as some of my other cycling pants and shorts. The problem is not the padding itself but the area of padding is just too small.Update: My original rating was 2 stars but now increased to 3 stars because of excellent customer service who contacted me and offered to customize the cycling pants by increasing the size of the padding at no cost to me. This tells me they are willing to listen to and address customer critiques and use it to improve their products. As soon as I have received and tried the new and hopefully improved cycling pants I will update this review.Second update: I received the cycling pants with a larger padding area and these pants are much more comfortable. My 5 star rating is for the customized pants.

Before I get into the review here's my sizing info: for pants I usually wear 31 or 32 waist (depending on if a 31 is available) and 32 length. I'm 5'10" ~165lbs and the Large fits great.First off I'm new to the world of cycling. I moved to the city and wanted to bike to work 2-4 days a week. I ordered these pants because my ride is about 14 miles round-trip and I know my rear would get sore on the current seat I have. After riding in these for a few days now I'm really happy I bought these, so far money well spent! I'm only rating these four stars for the time being because I just started wearing these pants. As time goes on I'll adjust the rating and update the review accordingly.

I have had these for several months, and have ridden them in range of temperatures. the lowest tempature I recommend is 45 degrees, the highest 70-75 degrees. They were cool, but not cold at 45 degrees, very comfortable at 50 degrees. The padding was superb for a chilly long distance ride (40+ miles). No pinching or bunching up. Really like the zippers at the ankle; really helps when taking them off. Highly recommend this product. I will be purchasing another pair, for the winterUpdate 03-17-2020I rode this morning in 34 degree temperature🥶 using the fleece lined tights. They kept me nice and warm. I definitely recommend this product.

I'm not an advanced cycler, just once in a while. These are the first padded, stylish riding "tights" I have ever purchased for myself.Let me tell you, what a difference these made ! Comfort with a capital "C" !...and when you are off your bike, it does not feel nor look like you have extra junk in your trunk !True to size, I am 6' - 185lbs, I ordered a Large and they fit great. My opinion, great value at a great price !

Fits great, thin but not sheer. I can actually wear my sleeve style elbow and knee guards OVER these with no bunching. They are a little lose at the ankle but that is intentional so you can unzip them and fit over shoes.Padding is just right. Really softens an all leather seat without feeling like a diaper.

At 6’ 4” 225 lbs I ordered the XXXL and they fit perfect, but after two 15-mile rides on my hybrid bike I have the same complaint as other reviewers. Not enough padding, or at least padding in the right places. I’ve been riding all summer with a pair of inexpensive Santic padded shorts that seemed to have the right amount and/or location of padding. Wish I could put their padding on these Sponeed tights. If more padding was offered as an option for these tights, I would purchase that option.

I took a chance on these since the price was so good, and I've been really happy with these. The material is great--doesn't feel like it hampers movement at all, but provides additional warmth on cold days. I've used them mainly in temperatures in the forties and been comfortable. I agree with other comments about the chamois placement being a little high in front, but I don't even think about it when riding. I also like the zippered bottom so you can get them on easily without stretching them out. Definitely go with the recommendations on size--I would normally wear a large but ordered the "Asian XL" and it fits perfectly.

These bicycle pants look good, feel comfortable, and are an excellent value for the money. I am giving these three stars instead of five for a few reasons:o These are not warm: The online description states, "Keep your muscles warm... The cycling pants have a soft thermal lined fleece interior to reduce heat loss , even under extreme wintry or snowy conditions." However, I received pants that look like those in the pictures, without fleece lining, and in fact the hardcopy tags with the garment state, "Keeps you cool and comfortable." These pants are excellent for warmer weather if you don't want to wear biking shorts, but I already own biking shorts and was looking for something for cooler weather.o The padding is a bit stiff: Feels fine, but looks a bit odd when wearing the pants. Note the absence of pictures of an actual person wearing these.o No pockets: I don't keep anything in the pockets of my biking shorts when biking, so I don't need pockets in bicycling pants while biking. However, for my short trip from my bedroom to my bicycle, as well as from my bicycle to a coffee shop and back, pockets are convenient for my cell phone, keys, wallet, etc.o The waist sits a bit high, so I wear them a little lower than designed so that I'm comfortable and look ok.(4/4/2021 revision: I added the last bullet item and downgraded the rating from four to three stars, edited the headline, and added text to the first bullet item.).
