These jars are perfect as canisters in my kitchen. They hold a lot and they look simple, but country at the same time. They look great! I will be ordering more!

So far, so good. It holds 2 dozen hard boiled eggs for the family's pickled egg recipe.

I used it for brewing Kambodscha. I liftet the brewed tea up and wanted to fill into small bottles. Out of the blue the whole bottom just fell uf. I was covered in kambudcha, all my Cloth were wet also the whole kitchen full of kambudcha and more dangerously full of glass. It was a big mess to clean up.Disappointed how this jar falls apart.

Got this jar to make kombucha and it's working perfectly. the lid is a little flimsy and cheap but luckily I don't need the lid that much so it's no big deal for me.

It's a BIG jar. At first we thought this would be perfect for making a bunch of cold brew tea in. It is actually great for making the tea, but HORRIBLE for serving the tea. You can't really pour from this jar into a glass, so you'd either have to use a ladle or server each time you want a glass (which means washing said ladle or server), or after the drink is brewed you would need transfer all the tea to a pitcher. I think we'd be much happier if there were a way to serve directly from the jar. The plastic top is also quite difficult to unscrew when the jar is cold. Kinda defeats the purpose for us. Love the idea of the big jar and making many servings at once, but it is quite inconvenient to serve from and to unscrew top when cold. Perhaps using a server or a ladle would be great for gatherings or parties, but for everyday use where single servings are taken throughout the day it's not.

Bought one of these for a Kratky container so I could see how it worked before purchasing more. The glass is solid and the plastic lid was easy to drill through with a hole saw. Will definitely be buying more.

The first one I ordered was smashed during shipping. When I reordered it the replacement came promptly and was undamaged. I am very pleased with this item. I use it to prepare cold coffee. It works great and I can see that there would be many uses for this item. I would purchase again.
