I've been wanting to try a silicone pastry bag for a while to cut down on the disposable ones, but I should have paid a bit closer attention to the sizes of these. The largest in the set is a 9-inch bag, which is pretty small, and the other two are smaller yet. These will work fine for small decorating tasks, but if you are working on a large cake or a large double batch of Christmas cookies, the constant refilling is bound to get old fast. They work well with my decorating tips and they're really easy to clean, I just wish they were bigger. I'd love it if they came in a 14 or 16-inch size and I'd buy several of those if they were available. As it is, this was a great way to test out silicone bags for the first time to see if I like them, and I do. They work as well as I expected, and are a much more sustainable option than going through loads of disposable bags.

I never knew that silicone piping bags even existed and I've been using the vinyl ones for a long time. I am totally sold on the silicone ones now. I felt like it was more flexible so I could add more icing, and it was much easier to handle than the vinyl bags. These were really easy to clean and they didn't stain like the vinyl ones can do. I like that this set has three different sizes, and the current price point makes it a great value for the set. I will definitely be ordering more.
