I always figured Marinara was Marinara so I used Ragu or Prego. A friend turned me on to Carbone and I'll never go back. I opened the jar and took a whif, that was all it took. Carbone tastes like the best sauce you've gotten at an Italian restaurant. When I dip my mozzarella sticks in it they don't get "wet" like with the other brands. They get perfectly coated in flavor. This IS the secret sauce. This is that flavor you've been wanting. I don't usually write reviews but I'm not usually this impressed.

I was hoping based upon reviews this sauce would be good and it was wonderful. I enjoyed it. The flavor was excellent, not too acidic for my taste. I was very impressed that they imported tomatoes from Italy itself. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it in my opinion. I enjoyed every bite of this sauce and so did my family. I appreciate this sauce living up to it's advertising word. I'd highly recommend and order this sauce again. I had not issues with jar breakage, shipping was perfect. Thank you.

I bought this on recommendation of a friend who is a huge fan of the restaurant. The deal I got for 2 bottles equaled $9 a jar, which is about what high end pasta sauce costs at my local Wegman's. So I felt it was low risk. I had it today with meatballs and found it to be a pretty decent sauce, a tad bitter though. I found no real fault in it but it's not something where I'm dying to put it on pasta to have more. I probably won't buy it again, unless I find some way to use it that it would really be delicious with. As a point to note, the packaging of this dual set was really nice with a custom Carbone box with nice illustrations. It would make a great gift with its presentation.

It’s my favorite marinara sauce to make pasta. My family loves it. Also, I love that it’s Kosher. Just wish it was a bit cheaper.

Love this marinara sauce. It tastes very authentic of just tomatoes, garlic, and spices. They arrived in very sturdy shipping box so chance of damage like others I have received.

Usually I make my own meat sauce but this as a base is pretty delicious. No complaints and way better than Prego or Ragu. Worth the extra cost in my opinion.
