6FT Sliding Barn Door Hardware Kit Heavy Duty for Single Wood Door

I absolutely love this kit! Everything but the door !Went up easy added built barn door and it looks and works so well.Add a floor track or door stopper and it will help the door not swing back n forth but the system is heavy duty and the price great !

This barn door hardware was pretty easy to put on the door that we had selected. Make sure that you keep the holes even so that it swings well once attached to the rail. With the rail, my biggest issue was that the anchor holes did not always line up with my studs. We had to install a 1”x6” board on the outside of the wall so that we could actually anchor the rail in proper locations along the area where we needed it. Be sure you know how high your door will have to hang before you hang the rail! I missed by 3/8” and had to decide to either cut the bottom of the door off or raise the whole rail. I cut the door. If you set the rail level then you’ll be fine. We’ve been using this system for about 4 months now with no issues. Very happy once we got the install right!!

The hardware is very well built. It is easy to install to the door. It looks great. Price is perfect. It fits great and works very smooth.

This is a decent kit. However, the instructions are all photos. Sometimes words and explanations are necessary. There is no list of tools needed. First, you will need an 11mm drill bit. This is almost half an inch and not a drill size in your normal household bits and drill kits. Second, the bolts I received had 5 heads that worked with my half inch socket but one was a different odd size. I had to use a cresent wrench on it. 3. Some written explanations like.... the fat end of the spacer goes against the wall, the washer goes between the bolt head and the track, the end spacers don't have the small extrusion so the ends pull in a little ( I suppose you could add in a few washers here), and the wood dowels are anchors. (Just put up a header board instead.).I figured things out zooming in on some online photos and watching install videos on different kits.

For perfect easy to install and easy to put up will be buying 4 more thank you

I only gave a 3-star rating because the door seems to get caught up every once in a while where the sections meet. The slider still works, just not super smooth. For the most part our barn door will be left open, so it's not a big deal for us, but if you're constantly using the barn door and opening/closing it could become a nuisance.

Easily transformed a door blank into a working slide door. Good value, easy install.
