Yes, the 48V model is for a 48V battery bank. There are other models available for either a 12V or 24V battery bank.

Yes, you can do either. If you have 2 of these you can configure them to work together to output 240V split phase power to a load center or you can parallel them to double the power.

I wish I could change my previous answer for more clarity. Be very careful when purchasing from this manufacturer. They are in Europe. Their products start off as 230v single phase 50hz. So, 230v does not mean split phase, it means single phase 230v. Like I said in the previous answer, if you require split phase, you need two of the 120v models configured for split phase.
