Boys Building Heaven
I bought this for my 4 year old. He already has the basic set, so this is an addition so he can make more and also has the pull back motor.He loves it and enjoys using his imagination to make lots of different things.The only think I would say would be an improvement, would be if the box included clear build instructions for a couple of basic things that a child could then follow to make themselves.There aren’t any build instructions, you can just follow the picture of the built item, which can be tricky.All in all though, a great toy for imaginative play and stands the test of time.

Excellent Toy
The little girl loves this Educational Toy. It arrived just in time for Christmas - on Christmas Eve.

pull back 3 car version (not the starter set!)
The media could not be loaded. Â Sadly I must say this is a very disappointing construction toy - there are no instructions for kids to follow, which for my boys is part of the fun and teaches them a lot.Even for us it was difficult to build the cars going only by the picture, so completely missed the point of the toy there.Also, the cars fall appart quickly, as they are not held together by scews but rather push-in plastic bits.The desgin of the finished cars is flimsy too, the windge car almost doesnt work due to poor design, the pull back feature is ok but doesnt work on carpet at all, I would have expected it to be much stronger.Conclusion for us, we should have bought a second of box of those no name multi construction sets that work with propper screw mechanisms and end up being sturdy and usable, and come with instructions.For this being a Brio toy and therefore expensive, it feels like some cheap brand version that has not even been tested by humans - very disappointing!

Good quality - but expensive
Brio is very good quality but expensive. Bought this as a try and see set before buying the more expensive sets as was looking for a toy that would entertain a three year old. It is advertised as suitable from 3 but for this age group assistance is definitely required. No instructions are provided to build the two models - just a photo of already constructed models. However our 3 year old grandson did enjoy assisting with the construction and playing with the finished vehicle.
